Platinum Serviced Suite KLCC

We'd booked this from Sydney. Unfortunately we'd also booked Qantas who put us on Jetstar Asia and delayed us 12 hours in Singapore. Despite over a dozen calls and texts to Platinum Suites assuring them we were delayed but coming, including a phone call an hour before we arrived at the suite, they cancelled our booking, something we discovered when we arrived. Despite 20+ texts and calls no one responded and we were forced to schlep the streets to find a new hotel. The guy who was supposed to check us in apparently picks and chooses when he turns up. The guy on the front desk can't help you. He looks after the residents. He was kind and friendly but not affiliated to these people who lease out private quarters through the back door. Like I said, don't be fooled by the nice pictures of the pretty views and nice furniture. If the guy who is supposed to check you in can't be bothered doing so, they remain nothing but nice pictures. Avoid at all cost.

At the arrival we got an appar**ant, which was a two bedroom place, not what we booked. It was extremly stinky because of other guests smoking in there. The pictures are very far away from the reality. When I asked for new room, they said, they don’t have. Or they give me another but I will have to move again in the morning to another. I refused, as I already paid to them, so insisted to get a clean room. Note, it is NOT a HOTEL, the 5 stars are goven to the building, not to these appar**ents. They ask you to pay in cash and they are grumpy if you don’t have any. In the end, after 18hours travelling, they gave me back my money and I had to move to another place. They were rude and not willing to help at all.
