De locatie is een beetje dubbelzinnig, maar de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding is goed en de faciliteiten zijn redelijk goed. Er is geen koelkast

Great location opposite Wawel and close to public transport links. Very spacious room - should be called suite. Versatile breakfast.

Pobyt w Hotelu Poleski minął szybko i przyjemnie. Pokój zgodny z rezerwacją w aplikacji Trip, czysty, przestronny z pięknym widokiem na Wawel. Obsługa miła i sympatyczna. Śniadanie pyszne, wszystkie produkty świeże, kawka z ekspresu rewelacyjna. Lokalizacja hotelu w dobrym miejscu, blisko przystanki autobusowe i tramwajowe. Choć nie korzystałam bo wole spacery, a to tylko 30 min pieszo do Dworca Kolejowego Kraków Główny. Jestem zadowolona z pobytu i polecam ten hotel.

Absolutely fantastic! Great, quiet location, easy walk to the historic center, and the best breakfast that changes items every day. Incredibly nice people at this family-owned place. Note: not everyone speaks English well, but enough to get by. We could see the famous Krakow dragon spit fire every few minutes from our window. The breakfast area has a terrific view. Very clean, and would love to stay there again.

The room was far too hot and humid. The air conditioner didn't work properly, and the cleaning staff opened the curtains when they left which let the sun in to hear the room up. On the day I arrived, the hotel was hosting some kind of loud dance party.

The hotel was barely open. The restaurant and bar were closed so nowhere to get a drink. Most of the staff were unfriendly, I had requested late check out with the travel agent as had a late flight home. Reception said they were unaware of this and that we need to vacate the room within half an hour even though the hotel was empty. Would not recommend staying here and would never return. The only good thing was the view over the Vistula river and Wowel castle.

Plus point is the view, IF you get a river view. Half the rooms don't have one, so be specific. Nothing else is good. Why else do you think it features so highly in their own adverts? There was perhaps a time when the hotel was great. But it has not been maintained. The rooms are bare, with a horrid rough carpet and they give the impression of being from a museum of life under communism. The breakfast was very poor. Coffee machine worked intermittently. Little variety or choice. I've had better breakfasts in several Polish youth hostels. As I sat down to breakfast, I found a dollop of congealed yoghurt and crumbs on my seat. This did nothing for my appetite. My main concern is that I booked a room late on a Friday. I knew it wouldn't have a river view - see from my pictures what view it did have - But I did hope to sleep. That hope never materialised. They gave me room 11, which is right underneath the motor for the air conditioning in the whole hotel. I tried to sleep and couldn't, being kept awake by frequent intermittent banging noises from the pipes overhead. They knew what they were doing when they gave me that room. At 2.45am, I got the receptionist to come up snd listen. he agreed it was awful. Then he went downstairs and turned the whole system off. it came back on again at 7am. Waste of time. Laughably, he tried to claim the noise was my air conditioning. But he had to be quiet when I pointed out it was not even switched on. They cynically exploited a lone foreigner, hoping he wouldn't complain.

I definitely recommend this hotel. Superb view, fantastic location, super friendly and helpful receptionists, convenient shuttle service (at an extra charge but reasonable price), good buffet breakfast (paid separately), clean room.
