We zaten twee nachten in dit tentenkamp. De locatie is prachtig, aan de Mara rivier met overal nijlpaarden. De tent zelf was mooi, aan de rivier, maar in ons geval waren er wel een paar kleine dingetjes. De waterkoker deed het niet, en was met plakband gerepareerd bij de bedrading, net als de haardroger. De tent zelf had aan de binnenkant wat schimmelachtige vlekken. Onze tent lag waarschijnlijk ook in de buurt van de stroomgenerator was continue voor geluid zorgde. Voor de rest niets meer dan lof voor dit complex en het personeel. Ik zou er zo weer naar toe terug gaan!

Dit is de derde keer dat we logeren in dit hotel en we blijven heel tevreden! Ruime, nette en mooie luxe tenten, heel vriendelijk personeel. Is een wat groter tentenkamp, veel Indiërs ! Eten is op basis van buffet en hier hadden we ook de indruk dat het aanbod toch wat minder was, maar het blijft wel heel lekker!!!! Een aanrader. Nogmaals bedankt voor het leuke welkom cadeau in onze tent en de onvergetelijke afsluiter. We hebben het gewaardeerd! Ingrid en Carl

We had an amazing experience. Rooms were very clean and cozy, nice pool and well maintained grounds, overall a very welcoming ambience. The highlight of my trip was the food which was delicious and extremely flavourful. I can't even begin to describe the desserts....so delicious. A big thank you to Ashnil Mara staff and by extension Boniface Kimeu who gave us excellent service the entire weekend. Kudos

We loved our stay at the Ashnil Mara Camp. The facilities were great and the customer service was amazing! All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and they packed us a lot for our breakfast boxes. It was the ideal place to stay when visiting the Mara.

Our family had a great time and wonderful experience at this lodge! Their website and pictures need to be updated, because everything looks much better in person. I was a little nervous since I think it is classified as a 3 star lodge, but from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, we were extremely impressed by the grounds, food, tent lodging, and the 5 star friendly customer service. The restaurant area and lounge area by the river would be a very nice and a great setting, even if it wasn't right next to the river with hippos within eyesight and earshot. The "tents" are very nice on the inside, shower/bathrooms are high quality, and beds super comfortable. We loved using the pool after long game drives. We wish we would have spent more nights here, and less nights at another lodge that is classified as a 5 star.

Amazing location for viewing the Great Migration of Wildebeest— and seeing “the big 5” of African wildlife. Excellent customer service, beautiful tents, and wonderful food. The safari guides are the best!

This a large tented lodge along the banks of river Mara. Pros: - buffet with a wide choice of food - large tents - beds with mosquito nets Cons: - service a bit impersonal due to the large size Overall a good choice for a reasonable price, in a good location inside the Masai Mara.

Fantastically presented and maintained luxury camp in the Masai. The "tents" were really comfortable and well equipped. The restaurant food was great, but may be a little rich for simple British tastes sometimes. The great thing is that the team on site are with you all the way so you get to know them. We even had the same restaurant dining table overlooking the Mara river for every meal!!! Our guys were Amos, Fred and our Masai guid Danson. All brilliant and so friendly and positive. They really showed pride in what they do which for us was to give us a great holiday! Thanks to them all. If you can, go out for the night-time bush dinner. That was the most amazing experience made possible by the great team of people here.
