Toen we aankwamen zijn we vriendelijk ontvangen. En naar de kamer gebracht. De kamer was prachtig met super mooi uitzicht op zee. Wel boven aan te berg dus was soms een aardige klim. Gelukkig mocht je altijd het personeel vragen om je in het busje naar boven te brengen. Het restaurant eten was goed. Maar wel vaak hetzelfde. Wat ons niet stoorde. Het personeel was heel aardig en dan vooral Muhammed (Aladin) en نعمة الله (Pastaman). We gingen graag naar het restaurant. Overdag organiseerde het entertainment team leuke activiteiten en ook in de avond was het altijd erg gezellig. Dankjewel Daphne, Adam, Paul en Ritz! Het strand was dichtbij en goed aan te lopen. Ook ging en om de zoveel tijd het treintje naar het strand. De service als je bij het zwembad lag of op terras zat was ook super goed! Het was niet storend en ze waren altijd super netjes. Bij de receptie kan je verschillende dingen boeken. Zo hebben wij bij de receptie een auto kunnen huren en een boeking gemaakt voor een massage in Mitsis blue domes. Fijne service ook. Kortom een heerlijke vakantie!

Dit hotel ligt op een mooie locatie op het eiland en maakt deel uit van een groep van hotels van dezelfde groep op 1 plek. De mensen die er werken zij echt de meerwaarde van het hotel. De min kant is de verouderde infrastructuur en het onderhoud ervan. Na 3 dagen blijven klagen zijn ze de schimmel in de kamer komen verwijderen en de mini bar veranderen (bij 33 graden geen overbodige luxe). Onze kamer was omgeven door afval en dit van lege blikjes frisdrank tot achtergelaten luch**atrassen. Het buffet was meer dan voldoende alleen viel het ons op dat het elke keer hetzelfde was en dus niets spontaan om maar te zwijgen over het aanbod voor kinderen. Ik snap nu waarom ze de andere restaurants van de andere hotels tegen een meerkost promoten. Ook de aanwezige fitness ligt in het andere hotel en moet je reserveren. Kortom een mooie locatie en voor ons zijn geld niet waard.

We visited Mitsis Family Village for my partners birthday , staying from the 13th May, leaving tomorrow (17th May). From arrival the staff were very welcoming. Reception were efficient, even with a new member of staff training behind the counter! The restaurant was fantastic, a great selection of food for everyone’s taste, I note from previous reviews that people have complained about the fact that not all the food is labelled. If you are not sure, just ask the staff! If the waiting staff don’t know, they’ll get the chef, I watched it happen. The room was quite dated and could do with a little refresh, however, who goes abroad to a hotel resort to stay in the room?! It was kept immaculately clean by the housekeeping staff and there was even a little surprise for my partners birthday. The stand out has to be Marios at the main bar. He was one of the first staff members we met and immediately made a connection with us remembering our drinks order and introducing us to new cocktails! He works tirelessly and clearly cares about getting his job done right! All of the staff do, that’s what makes this hotel one of the best I have stayed at!

Love this hotel, staff are amazing, gorgeous location , beach is fantastic, bar and food available on the beach, hotel food was fantastic, great variety to suit everyone , good quality drinks at the bar, couldn’t fault this hotel or anything of the facilities

Enjoyed a 10 day stay at the beginning of May with my wife. All of the staff are simply superb especially the restaurant manager Angelo & Chef Georgios. My wife is gluten free & was catered for perfectly. Thoroughly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Brilliant holiday beautiful place and wonderful staff, will definitely be back. Could not do enough for you always so pleasant and helpful. Food to suit everyone and extensive bar menu too. Great night our in Kardmaina in a beautiful Greek bar

Had a lovely family holiday here. Staff are all very friendly and helpful and the resort itself it’s clean and well kept. The food has a nice selection and is constantly being topped up. The ice cream and crepe bar was a huge hit with our kids and there is no limit on how many you have. The drinks and cocktails are very tasty too! The golf cart down to the beach was ideal as the resort is quite hilly. The beach itself is lovely with a pizza and drinks bar on hand. We stayed in a swim up maisonette room which was fine. Our only complaint about this was we booked this for 2 adults and 3 children and when we finally got checked in and got dropped off at our room the sofa beds weren't made up and had no linen to make them up ourselves. Only thing we could find were a couple of very heavy blankets in the cupboard. The check in was also a bit time consuming and with only one small van shuttling people to their rooms there was a long wait. At 1am with 3 children it’s a bit of a frustrating start to the holiday.

Excellent yoga lessons by Karolina at the Mitsis Family Hotel. Very relaxing. Also good food and helpful staff in the restaurant and bar. The hotel is a long walk from Kardamena but there is a good bus service from right outside the hotel to Kardamena and Kos town . The weather is a bit windy in early May, maybe we will go later in the month next time. Thanks to all the staff for a good holiday

We LOVED our stay at Mitsis Family Village in Kos! The staff were so warm and friendly and the service and the food were superb! We met some wonderful guests there too! We loved the entertainment in the evenings! On our first night the wonderful Dritan helped us with our luggage and took us to our rooms. And there was even a sandwich ready for us at 3am! Incredible! John the LifeGuard was wonderful too! Adriola, Aspasia, Maria, and Panagiotis, served us drinks every day and had such gorgeous personalities! And the restaurant staff were absolutely brilliant too - great personalities! Good fun! And they really looked after us! We loved our holiday!
