Palau Royal Resort

The staff in PRR are very kind and helpful. Hotel facilities are excellent, including a constant temperature outdoor swimming pool, private beach, gym, recreation room (pool and table tennis), as well as outdoor tennis court and mini-golf. You can find day-trip leaflet at hotel, staff are very willing to arrange the trip for you.

I really enjoyed my stay at Palau Royal Resort, which lasted for 6 nights as my return flight had to be postponed by 2 days. It was home away from home, and I cannot thank all the staff enough for their excellent service, welcoming smiles and wonderful help rendered throughout our stay. Our room was also cleaned up very well every single day, kudos to the lovely cleaning lady who always greeted us with a beaming smile when she came around to do her job. 10/10 would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Palau!

房間超美的，一眼望去有小山，也有海洋，我放了照片在這裏。非常適合度假的一家酒店。服務人員也都非常的幫忙， 海灘很棒，應該是我在所有的海里游泳的經驗最好的一次。因為風景很好，而且水非常的乾淨，遊了之後就愛上了！ 唯一有一點點問題的是 WIFI 不太好用，一直跳出來. 搞得我要工作都很難，哈哈，或許這就是為什麼在這個酒店中可以休息的原因吧。但的確是唯一美中不足的地方. 令我印象很深刻的是在 wave 的餐廳裏，Daniela 真的很棒，我們去一次，他就基本上記得我們想要的東西，而且超級 attentive! 這樣的員工真是令人難以忘記，要大大表揚一下！ 總之，非常推薦給大家！

Beautiful, ocean front hotel with Asian landscaped ponds and gardens. Very nice Waves restaurant and bar. Inside and outside dining. Two outdoor bars near the large swimming pool. We had a spacious, clean, corner suite that was recently remodeled in a classy, contemporary style. It featured a large living room with a porch and loungers, dining bar, large bedroom with 2 queen beds and huge closet, another balcony off the bedroom, a beautiful bathroom with free standing tub, separate shower, enclosed toilet and a second 1/2 bath. This was more like a private apartment. Great, friendly services at the hotel and in the dining room where we had a wide selection of choices for breakfast.

First, there are not that many hotels in Palau, and there are not that many resort-like hotels in Palau, and there are even fewer hotels with their own private beach as well as a large pond with dozens of tropical fishes and a sea turtle. Fortunately Palau Royal Resort had all these and while expensive, it was not something that is over the top (unlike the other 5* hotel) Palau Royal Resort is not a 5* hotel but I think my stay there was 5*. The room was newly renovated during the COVID times. We had the ocean view which had the view of the beach as well as the sea (although it was not much of an ocean because there was an island not far from the beach so you won't get to see the horizon much) The room was spacious, the toilet, the shower, the bathtub and the wash basin were all in separate areas so there was no need to fight for these :) and they provided durable rubber flip flops (those you could wear on a beach) instead of those white flimsy slippers that the moment you left the hotel they would fall apart. The location of the hotel was quite near to the downtown of Koror though you would not really be expected to walk there. Transportation could be a problem in Palau but there was really no need to go to the downtown when you are at sea every day (unless you needed to grab a simcard, and yes that's a major problem in Palau as not many shops would sell these unless you go to the downtown) But there is a kiosk just across the road so you could get what you need. As mentioned before it had its own beach (which there was a bit of coral to see if you snorkel there but again, you wouldn't want to stay in the hotel in Palau to spend your day) The hotel also came with its own private pier so your tour boat could drop you off there instead of more travelling after a long tiring day. There was only one restaurant in the hotel and the breakfast was generally good (buffet style) every morning. At other times they were all a la carte and the price was not too outrageously expensive. Twice a week there was a dinner buffet and the food choice was surprisingly good for the price you paid (they had Singaporean Chili crab and Salmon Sashimi) but then it seems the food was not refilled. (To be frank there wasn't that many ppl there when we were there) The hotel had free drinking water dispenser on each floor so you would never be thirsty. If you are bored of the same menu everyday you could go to the neighbouring restaurants and hotels for similar foods (most serve American cuisine) The service was in general good except the staff who checked me in knew nothing about my ******* GOLD membership and would not give out the perks that ******* mentioned. It wasn't much (20% off spa) which we were not interested anyway, but that was the only negative experience we had.

The hotel is well located in Koror city. The staff are extremely helpful and courteous. The food is quite ok but they had no variety of icecream beyond strawberry and chocolate. Rooms are clean but very late in cleaning. Sometimes past 5 in the evening. Otherwise a very good hotel with excellent staff. Worth a stay

The snorkeling beach lagoon and pool were wonderful amenities! Beverage service was a nice plus for poolside! Great location with amazing views of the neighboring “rock island” The balcony was a great place to watch the sunrise over the water!

Service: Polite and efficient. Plenty of staffing despite being there over Christmas. Room: Clean and modern. Nice tub for a bath and to rinse your dive gear. Good AC. Amenities: Lovely little beach with adjacent pool. Lots of room to lay back and relax or take a dip. Breakfast was varied and fresh. Room service was prompt and delicious.
