The Quilon Beach Hotel and Convention Center

we have visited this hotel twice. The rooms offer breath taking view of the sea and the hotel ambience only adds to the beauty. The staff are super friendly and they were very accomodative of our requests during both our visits. I need to specially mention the GM of the hotel, he was very generous and supportive to my family and provided us with rooms right next to each other. also, the food is mind blowing.

Bathrooms are bad, no hair dryer, no iron box. Rooms are not cleaned up on daily basis. Food buffet is costly not worth it, sometime salty, sometimes no salt at all. Restaurant people knocks at late night to get sign in food bill, not respecting the guest privacy. The bill was never ours which the restaurant manager took 1 hour to confirm it by checking the cctv which is frustrating.

Location is fantastic, close to the beach with sea facing room. Though breakfast was not all that good, the lunch and dinner menu was good.

We had a stay for 2 nights in the hotel in Dec'24. Honestly, we felt that the Hotel misses out on basic things that just gives a feeling that those are not a priority for them. 1. Extremely Noisy room— We were given a room that was next to a service lift/generator room that made noise all the time, so much so that we had to call reception to find out why so much noise was coming. They never responded. But we figured it out eventually. Why they would have a room next to such a noise-making area is beyond me. 2. Response time - Somehow, almost all the time when we called housekeeping or room service, there was a significant wait time before someone answered the call. Especially, housekeeping never answered. We had to call the reception to get through to them. 3. Chaos during Morning breakfast - It seemed like the staff at the restaurant struggled with the morning buffet breakfast crowd. Cutlery not available, and food not being replenished on time in the buffet were a common sight during our stay. It would be unfair if we only called out the problems without mentioning the Good part about the property - 1. Spacious room 2. Proximity to the beach We think that the property deals with a lot of guests in the peak season and maybe due to that, has not been able to give attention to smaller details that impact customer experience. it would be good for the property to review their improvement areas during the peak season

Property is in a great location with a great beach view. Had some issues with tv, but was rectified asap.

Other than the location nothing is great about this hotel. They hardly have any amenities listed. For eg they listed kids play area and spa, vehicle for rent. Nothing is available. Staff absolutely has no time sense, we reported at the reception at 2 pm which is the scheduled checkin time but our room was assigned at 3 pm and once we entered the room, phone is not working, no towels in the washroom, calling bell not functional and many more. They have complimentary breakfast from 7 30 to 10 30, but by 9 30 half of the items were finished and the staff dont care to refill, i will not recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you are travel-ling with kids and family and needless to mention it is heavily overpriced. Seriously disappointed
