Very old hotel and not very well maintained. It should be rated just only 2 stars at maximum.

Rooms were good but not upgraded.Food was really good but expensive. Complimentary breakfast spread was good. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Overall a pleasant stay.

Dirty rooms, linen were unwashed probably or unchanged. Bathroom taps were faulty. Sofa chair was dusty. Cleanliness was a joke

It’s a wonderful property but it was sad to see poor maintenance. Probably reason being almost two years of lockdown but still there are few things that could have been done like polishing of wood and stone bases and replacing door knobs

The hotel is poorly maintained ' staff was very nice and tried their best to give good service ' towels weee torn ' I have stayed here ***y times 15 years back and honestly' disappointed' there are ***y options at the same price range

Stayed 2 nights at HHI Kolkata. 4 star rating? Really?!! The hotel is in a run down condition. Only poor cover ups happening around the place. Filthy as well. Mould in bathrooms, power points cracked and unable to recharge our phone. False ceiling and wall plaster peeling off. Temperature control in room impossible. Either freeze or switch off aircon and potentially feel hot. Had our travel agent change our assigned rooms to an "upgraded" one but that made no difference. One of the rooms we got ( we had 2 rooms booked) , did not have a firm enough mattress leading to body aches in the morning. The hotel needs to close down for a while for a proper renovation and until that happens.. we cannot see how it can boast 4 star rating. Hotel staff in general though were helpful and welcoming.

Room was nice and neat and clean. Mr. Prabir was so friendly and nice. Mr. Ashok is so helpful and nice . Ms. Rajanya in front desk was so kind and helpful. U will feel so relax and cleanliness was very nice. Toilet was so clean and pillow was also clean. Everything was perfect.

Very good cleansing by house keeping staff. Me Rajeev has been very supportive to provide great service. The buffet breakfast and dinner is also sumptuous. Pool and bar and other amenities also suit the restaurant. Really enjoyed the stay.
