Het is fijn om als gezin te komen, goed verzorgd en schattig, de kinderen leren veel. Mooi op een verwarrende manier, maar mooi. Ik hou van de decoraties van vreemde plekken, felle kleuren, alsof je een andere stad binnenstapt. Er zijn veel fotohoekjes. Uitstekend eten

This place looked exactly like the pictures. A beautiful, colourful property set in a beautiful garden. Every part had something interesting to explore and I couldn’t stop looking at all the art that decorated every space. There were three pools (2 small and a slightly larger one) which was perfect for kids. My children loved the water slide going down from one pool to the other pool. Breakfast was simple but varied and the two dinner meals we had were delicious. Everyone there was very sweet and helpful. The walk to the beach was about 5 minutes but it wasn’t too bad. I really enjoyed the stay here!

Per toeval hebben we hier 3 nachten doorgebracht. Wat een prachtig resort. Het lijkt wel een juttersmuseum met allerlei snuisterijen, vrolijke kleuren en gezellige indeling. 2 kleine, maar prima zwembaden. Aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Het resort ligt boven op een bergje, met een achteraf trappetje richting Lamai. Onderaan het trappetje vind je een motorbike verhuur, waar je voor 150-180thb een motorbike huurt.

This was perfect for us.... we felt very much at home here. It's a little rough around the edges in places but we stayed in shiny resorts that were stale and pomp. Lovely friendly staff. Great to see children enjoying themselves not on screens. Impossible to see all the artwork, every day we'd see something new. We would definitely come back here.

Booked this hotel going off great reviews,baffled by them now we have stayed at the varinda,people must of stayed in a different room to us,our room was nothing like advertised on *********** the room was dark dirty and shabby,gaps all over the walls so you could see outside,and smell the guys **** who was smoking underneath,bed and pillows were hard "although we did get new ones on request" I'm used to roughing it as I camp at numerous festivals,but this was on a different level,we have stayed in 7 hotels over the last month,all lived up to there reviews,except this one,if they put the effort into cleaning it like they do the artwork all over the place it would be better,only positive was the sea view.

Most amazing place on this island! We can fully recommend: its just amazing. Calm, in the middle of the nature, a most amazing, wellcoming, creative and friendly family that hosts the resort. We had two amazing weeks here. Nothing like these all-the-same other resorts. Creativ, beautifull, animal-friendly, open-hearded an fun! Go there, it will make you happy.

Stayed at varinda for 1 week , certainly not value for money , the place was dirty dark & mouldy , upon closing the so called curtains the dust was unbelievable ,had to use a towel because the curtains never covered the window , the sink was filthy, the toilet had never seen bleach , you could see through the walls they were like pallets, , the shower was max 4ft high , the bed was rock hard , that's because it was basically a sheet of 8x4 plywood , had to wipe our feet on the way out .

I lived there from 28/05/2023 to 10/06/2023. It is such a beautiful place with a lot of attention to detail. The service is great, the rooms are clean. It's a family run place and everyone is keen to make you feel at home. It is very central to the Lamaicentrum and yet quiet. Furthermore, there is a great view over Lamai from the restaurant and the pool. I will book this accommodation again for my next holiday.
