The ambience was too good and South Indian Chef of Tamara Mr. Selvakumar’s dishes were amazing and especially Mutton Biryani in the dinner buffet was top notch and other dishes of him simply good…he explained us what all he cooked and he specially made idli for my little son. Really had amazing experience in Tamara

The food was really amazing .Room was so comfortable and luxury.greener made mind so relaxed . Room service and other services were also so good and neat Especially the live kitchens were so helpful for us . Chief Mr.selva Kumar was helping us with live kitchen He gave us all required foods especially that mutton briyani was really amazing . And our kids loved all those extra activities. Activities gave our kids more knowledge and experience. So we extremely enjoyed lot in Tamara Kodai . Thank you so much

The property is too good . The best resort I have stayed in Kodai so far. The food was also delicious. Special South Indian food made by chef selva Kumar was delicious. Reminded me of my home town. Wil come back here again and again in future. 😀😀

One of the best Malabar Fish Curry we have had till date. Superb taste. Maybe also have in prawn version too. Compliments to Chef Selva. But we honestly feel that it should automatically come accompanied with rice or neer dosa, etc. and not charged seperately for that.

Our stay at Tamara Kodai was wonderful. The ambience was serene and inviting, the hotel team ( preetika et al) meticulous in their attention and care, lovely drives courtesy Ebi, our ebullient cab driver, always punctual and knowledgeable about the local areas, and topped off by the culinary excellence from Executive Chef Nitish and his brilliant team. The food was exceptional in taste and diversity and every meal was an experience. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a perfect blend of rest, relaxation and gourmet dining!

Tamara is awesome and the food is absolutely brilliant. Chef Upaching and his team prepared an amazing smorgasbord of delicious delights daily! The staff are super friendly and they go out of their way to ensure that guests are well looked after and super comfortable.

We had an exceptional experience staying at Tamara during our family trip to Kodai. There were 8 adults in our group of varying age groups and needs. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the service was outstanding. They went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests (special thanks to Suhail). The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the delicious food we enjoyed at in-house restaurant "La Provence" for breakfast and dinner. The vegetarian spread was expansive, with every dish being absolutely mouthwatering. After casually chatting with the chefs about some specific dishes like Mishti Doi (from Bengal) and tomato-based gravy (South Indian), we were delighted to find those dishes specially prepared for us and delivered to our dinner table that same night. In addition to the buffet spread, we enjoyed live counter that served dosas (breakfast) and chaat items (dinner). The young adults in our group were interested in cooking lessons, but not the typical ones like pizza or chocolate making that they offered at most resorts. When we expressed this, Chefs Selva and Ranjit took special care to curate a custom class and teach them few different unique local cuisine dishes, including jackfruit gravy, appams, special rasams and curries. Not only did we learn a lot, we also picked up valuable tips for our own cooking from these top chefs. The rooms and facilities were impeccably maintained and featured eco-friendly amenities. The views were stunning, and the trail down to the lake starts right at the entrance of the resort, allowing us to enjoy early morning walks through lush, rainforest-like pathways every day. Despite heavy rain for three out of our four-day stay, which could have spoiled the vacation elsewhere, this resort made it a memorable experience as we engaged in numerous family games in the lobby area when we weren't savoring the delicious food.
