Mandalay Hall - Concept Hotel

The hotel rooms are really good, the food is also great, the only thing that can be improved is service.

I spent three nights at the Postcard ***dalay during a three-week trip to India. I stayed entirely in 5-star hotels and this was among my favorites. The hotel is located on a pedestrian only street in the historic Jewish quarter and a short tuk tuk ride away from Fort Cochin. The neighborhood is full of interesting shops, coffee houses, and traditional outdoor markets. The entire staff is professional and friendly under the ***ager Renjith’s leadership. Too ***y to individually name but include housekeeping, dining, and kitchen staff. Everyone is so helpful and kind. The chef is very talented and creative. I ate all my meals there! I stayed in Gallery 2 and didn’t mind the occasional happy voices from the street. Highly recommended!

The service was wonderful. Vivek was so attentive and accommodating. Thanks to entire team they took nice care of us. Food was mouthwatering. I have tried best Kerala food ever in this restaurant. Entire staff were very helpful. Thank u so much for wonderful experience.

Really large hard pillows unable to sleep, despite getting them changed. The room was nice, large, but was on the front of the hotel and there was a lot of outside noise. There was a lot of fuss about the art in the hotel which felt unnecessary and pretentious especially when the basics have to be right so that the paying customer is comfortable. The staff were excellent is not a little overbearing lurking all the time. overall I felt a little claustrophobic. The outside space is small and the pool was tiny with 2 sunbeds in the shade overlooking the kitchen. no where to really relax and unwind and nothing to look at just an enclosed courtyard. It is a glorified guesthouse and definitely not worth the high prices we paid. Try the ginger house opposite nice outdoor space overlooking the water.

The location is walking distance to all that you might want to see as a tourist . The staff is super nice and very helpful . I travelled with my 92 year old Dad and the staff was very helpful . All arrangements for day trips , food requests and helping my Dad on the stairs etc.. very personalised .We stayed in Gallery 4. And a special thanks to Renjith, Vivek , Robin, the Chef and the entire staff - you made us feel at home 🙏

In the space of two days, I went to this restaurant for dinner twice. The welcome is warm, the staff are attentive and take pleasure in sharing their passion for Kerala cuisine. Let yourself be guided by the suggestions, everything is delicious! Next time I'll definitely book a night in their hotel!

A big thank you to the team at Postcard ***dalay Hall! The welcoming Kerala Cuisine and the spoiling service at this place has changed the level of service expectations from a Hotel. A truly amazing Boutique property nestled in the heart of Jew Town.

This is one the most unique hotels in the world. This postcard is very pretty, arty , cozy , with exceptional details. Mr Renjith took great care of us. Also all the team went beyond to please their guests. The food was out of this world, very impressive , the chef is very talented and only uses top notch quality. We had a seafood platter one night. It's the best seafood platter we've ever had so far. I can't give 5 scores because we relocated to another room. The room we booked has a loud noise every 15 mins.. sounds like a generator. The new room was also noisy. We heard too much noise from the neighbor next door. I hope they will fix this noise issue.
