We got locked out of our room on the first night, after going out for dinner. As the reception shuts at 8pm, we rung the emergency number on the card, which went to voice mail. We left two messages, to date no one has returned our call, and so we slept on the sofas in the reception! No apology, and after persistence, I got my money back for the night. The hotel needs to review its out of hours procedure. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast good. However I would question whether its really a 4 star venue.

Great location near the train station. Ample parking if you need to park a car. Housekeeping kept the room clean daily. Bed was too soft, not good for my back. Aircon didn’t work properly when I was there.

I prepayed €190 for my room, unfortunately due to sickness I wasn’t able to make my reservation, cancellation and a refund was refused, I tried to move my reservation forward by a day and despite them having availability, this also was refused. If you want to experience a disaster of a hotel, book here, they are quite simply as bad as it gets!!!!

As a 4 star Hotel you would expect it to have clean rooms. However, there where stains everywhere (on the beds, walls, carpet floor and even in the electricity outlets; from which some did not work properly). Furthermore, the air conditioning barely works and it therefore is quite hot in the rooms. The location of the hotel is quite bad. Firstly, it is extremly close to railroads. Secondly, it is above fast food that you will smell as soon as you open you window. When I talked to the receptions about the issues he did not seem to take them serious. 2 stars, instead of 4, would be justified for a hotel like this.

Das Hotel wirkt, als hätte es die besten Zeiten hinter sich und eher am Leben erhalten wird. Das Personal ist zwar freundlich und hilfsbereit die Probleme auszubügeln, wenn man aber nach Mitternacht im Zimmer steht und die Vorhänge nicht zuziehen kann weil die Schwerkraft sie aus der Gewölbe runterzieht und beim Duschen das Wasser auf einmal nicht fließt, weil die Armatur schon so alt ist, hilft es nur mäßig. Außer Handtücher und zwei an der Wand nachträglich befestigten Flaschen mit Seife und Body Lotion findet man leider nichts, was in 4 Stern Hotel üblich wäre (auch nichts zum Duschen). Andersrum Frühstück: Raum mit fast Panoramablick, um 9 Uhr war zwar schon einiges vergriffen, aber was da war, war in guter Qualität, knusprige Semmeln, französische Käsesorten, breite Teeauswahl. in die Innenstadt kommt man in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß, einfach nur gerade aus. Parken in der Tiefgarage oder hinterm Hotel ist praktisch. Also für eine-zwei Nächte, wenn man sonst nichts außer schlafen und frühstücken im Hotel tut, ist es OK.
