Beachwoods Resort

We took a spur of the minute weekend trip. We had never heard of beachwood resorts before. Every part of pur trip was excellent from arrival to departure and was well beyond our expectations for our weekend getaway!

The resort is very nice. Good space, has nice amenities for kids, and is pretty. I ignored reviews that said the walls were paper thin. Big mistake. You can hear everything from the adjoining room. My neighbors and I were laughing about it but were quite annoyed. Fortunately, we were pleasant and we kept our TVs down to nothing and did the best we could to be quiet. Even so, it was a constant annoyance. Also, I got my reservations on *******. Checkout time was listed as 3 pm in and 11 AM out. I reserved solely on that info. I can't stand these places that want you out by 10. I'm on vacation, I don't want to wake up early and rush out. Nevertheless, I got an email two days before getting there saying checkout was 10 AM. I ignored it but brought a paper copy of my ******* reservations. The evening before morning checkout I got an email telling me checkout was 10 AM. I corrected her and told her my reservations said 11. She thought she was doing me a favor by saying I could check out at 10:30. In the morning I went to the front desk and checked out at 10:20. I showed the lady at the front desk my reservations showed check out at 11:00 AM and the Resort should get this cleared up with *******. She replied, "******* is a third party and we have no control over what they do"..... Very disappointing. At first glance this place was beautiful. Should have gone elsewhere.

This was a quiet and oeaceful stay with a comfirtable accommodation. We loved the area and the rooms.

Easy check in and out process. Clean facilities. Staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient location.

i had plenty of options of things to do while there. Had a great time. a few thiings was a small concern but had so much fun with no incidents that it was not even worth mentioning. Looking forward to returning

Kids love the water park, but the place is falling apart. Rust everywhere, the big slide is shut down, and even the fire sprinklers are leaking. The cottages are not much better. Cheap appliances, noisy fans, lamps that don't work, and terrible lighting (cold white). Staff was friendly and they try to help. But they can't fix years of maintenance neglect with kindness.

Everything was wonderful but few things needs to be button up about the room. Cabinet doors should have cushions to stop from making loud sound when closing. Master bedroom shower tub spigot was loose. Dryer filter wasn't clean out. Guest shower filter wasn't cleaned good still had hair. Cleaning crew need to take more time to clean the place before the next guest come in.

This property was very clean and light. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We are already planning a return trip.

We live this place this was our second time staying here. The kids love the inside water park.
