Ndaru Luxury Suites

Recently stayed at Ndaru for about 10 days and had the most amazing stay! Room was beautiful, equipped with everything you need. Housekeeping often cleaned and kept the place neat and tidy. The supervisor Godfrey went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay and everything we needed! He helped us with everything form suggestions on how to get to neighboring countries to where to braid our hair and everything in between! We love Godfrey and will surely miss him! As well as his team who all made our stay great! Front desk is attended at all hours and we could call the desk from our room whenever, there was always someone nice who picked up and helped us with whatever we needed. A very nice and well equipped gym is located in the center of the hotel as well as a nice and clean outdoor pool with sun beds surrounding it. Rooftop bar with plenty of sitting area and a nice view. The hotel is located in Nyarutarama which is a very nice area in Kigali. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely come back to Ndaru next time we visit Kigali!

This is a lovely hotel with friendly staff and a good location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Having amenities like an on-site restaurant, pool and gym are really useful. There is a small supermarket and A** just two minutes up the road, and a choice of restaurants (lots of good Indian food) all within 2km walk. The restaurant and bar staff are really nice. There’s a decent choice for both food and drinks. Food is slow to arrive but that’s the case in most of Kigali! Some suggestions for improvement are to provide more vegetarian choice in the restaurant (most of what was on the menu was not available, and you can’t live on pizza!). Also, offer ‘do not disturb’ signs and/or locks on the room doors so you are not disturbed by housekeeping while napping.

I have been visiting Kigali regularly for work, but this is the first time i stayed in this property. I had an issue with my airport pick up because when I arrived, no one came to pick me, and i tried calling Dorothy several times but no response. I waited for nearly an hour, and just decided to take the airport taxi. They apologized later, saying the car had some issues, and also offered me a complimentary drop off on my departure. But the disappoin**ent could have been avoided if they informed me and not just left me waiting for nothing at the airport. In terms of the hotel, the location is very good, close to the city center. The room was comfortable, although it was inconvenient not having a table and chair inside. I always had to eat at the balcony. The food in the restaurant is also not bad, but it will be better if they add more options in the menu. But what stood out for me are the staff who always tried their best to make things convenient for me. Big thank you to Dan and Godfrey at the Reception. Amazing customer service. Also to Patrick who dropped me at the airport. Thank you guys!
