Corfu Hellinis Hotel

I am surprised none of the reviews mention that the hotel also operates as a budget hostel for local students. The place is littered with youths and noise is loud at night. While they have wifi, they switch it off regularly and plead ignorance. One receptionist is particularly rude and hostile. Its neither clean nor friendly and really about the standard of a glorified hostel. Other hotels in town centre are far far better.

Absolute disgrace. Room was dirty, bedding dirty, room door didn’t lock, patio doors didn’t lock, cleaners forgot to clean rooms, beds broken, reception served as staff smoking room. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. No rep at hotel and couldn’t contact one. Pool didn’t get cleaned. Restaurant smelt awful,. Very noisy. Definitely think twice before booking this hotel. Half board holiday, absolute joke.

I lasted 4 days and cut my week short deciding I’d rather be in my own home with my own comforts. I wasn’t comfortable or happy and seven days is a long time in that mood. I was very disappointed with my small room and minuscule shower. I will keep on saying it, hotel rooms should have tea and coffee facilities! I had thankfully taken a kettle which was good for the room but also a lifesaver at breakfast because you couldn’t get a mug of tea or coffee The food was strange and not very good. A couple of times I didn’t stay and went to a cafe for breakfast. I had booked A.I and when I got there it was H.B only. You could only have water with dinner and there is no service, just a man angrily scraping plates into a bin. Breakfast juice was out of a machine so I took cartons of juice down and my mug of tea ! The hotel no longer offers lunch so you can’t eat between 10am and 7pm - the snack bar doesn’t operate. The pool was okay but the loungers all need replaced and the trees need cut back. Wi-Fi very hit and miss Staff not great - very relaxed or offhand depending on how you look at it. I couldn’t find any level of decent hospitality. The area is scenic and SkyView restaurant and Cafe Kanoni are nearby do a great lunch or dinner. The hotel is right beside the airport runway which I quite liked and didn’t disturb me. The planes stop overnight. Up the hill is a great market where I bough a lot of drinks and tea. The bus stop outside the hotel is useful and a trip to Corfu Town is €1.70. The route is straight forward and route number is 2A. I would not stay here again. I doubt I’ll return to Corfu again - very disappointing.

I stayed here for one night after flying into Corfu International Airport. I can't speak for the room as I got in late at night and left early the next morning. I did find the location inconvenient though and the bus into town was very tricky to navigate.

It was off season and I didn’t expect much but my days were organised accordingly by Sydney, time spent here was amazing, beach view was everything I expected. Appreciated the hospitality. The room smelt abit but the cleaners tried removing the stench. Thank you for everything guys. From the boys in Manchester 🤙🏾

The price was too high for a hotel that offers nothing special. This hotel, by all accounts, deserved to have only 2 stars. The staff at the reception are very unfriendly and whatever I asked, they didn't know how to answer, except that they offered expensive taxis as if they were working with them because for the transportation of 1.5 km from the hotel to the airport, they ask for 50 euros. There is a lot of noise because the planes land non-stop, the bathroom is quite small. You almost cannot enter the shower cabin. In the rooms, the internet worked very slowly and the connection in the rooms is poor

Lovely quiet hotel with very pleasant staff. Rooms are very lovely. Its got a swimming pool and can see the run way from the balcony. Restaurant food is ok not the wow factor. Would definitely stay there again.

Poor maintenance but convenient location, close to the airport, bus stop very close, really close to the famous Monastery. Rooms were not cleaned properly, bathroom is very small and smelled bad at times. Good swimming pool and very good breakfast serving traditional Greek food. Friendly staff.

This place was very disappointing. Tiny room. Outdated rooms. Noisy. Bathrooms are disgusting. Showers tiny- you couldn’t swing a mouse in there. The dirt on the switches and sockets are sickening. The beds are hard. The duvet covers filthy. The breakfast is vile. The lobby won’t use air con. And the bar didn’t even have Greek beer! Just stay somewhere else!!
