Lovely overnight stay in the HUGE 2 bed apartment which was bigger than my home, couldn't fault the welcome we received, the price I paid, (which my sister constantly guessed as much higher as she tried to get it out of me to share the cost), or the facility's. We didn't use the kitchen, but there was all you could need for a weeks stay or more self catering, bathroom lovely, beds comfy. I would just say that the road to the front is noisy, so if you are looking to stay here, make sure the room was at the back overlooking the lovely big garden and view of the Downs it is named after. If I was being picky, the sofa cover could do with changing (looked a bit stained) or a throw chucking over it and it was a bit cobwebby, but it's in the country, so the appear as fast as you clear them in my experience.

I had a issue with the heating and the lady was really nice and helpful lovely lady. Then about 12.45 while having a shower the electricity went pitch black I had to get put the shower and find my way out the room in a towel to find someone. After ringing the bell someone finally come I told them the issue and he was so rude telling me to put my mask on in the pitch dark I didn't know where it was. Finally I got power he returned to be even more rude telling me how long I had been in the shower and how he don't care while rudely telling me the time and that he was in bed. Not once did I get a sorry. I could of easily slipped getting out the shower or hurt myself navigating my way in the dark a sorry wold of went a long long way so if you do stay hear don't wake shrek up after 12

Wir übernachteten im Downsview auf dem Weg zur Fähre in Dover. Vom Zimmer aus hatten wir eine schöne Aussicht über den zum Hotel gehörenden Park, da es von der Strasse weg gewandt war, war es auch sehr ruhig. Das Früstück (wahlweise britisch oder normal) schmeckte sehr gut und war bereits um 7 Uhr bereit, so dass wir vor der Abfahrt in Ruhe essen konnten.
