I liked this property. The decor was nice. The rooms were comfortable. The window over the street was interesting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't care for was the parking. The choice between valet and street was disconcerting to me. And it seemed like after we paid for valet the car should have been moved more quickly to the garage.

Best and easiest valet check-in ive uad in Kansas City. The hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff is very friendly.
The only downside I didn't consider was the proximity to Union Station and railroad tracks. We could hear trains passing by all through the night.
The walls all also paper thin... our neighbors gave us quite a show (and vice versa).

This hotel is fabulous. The staff go above & beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay. The rooms are beautiful with high windows for an awesome view. The shower is to die for, I didn't want to get out! Had the best water pressure of any hotel I have stayed at. We went to a concert. Called a taxi for the trip there due to rain but we were able to walk back to the hotel afterwards, only six blocks. I love downtown KC! Can't wait to stay again.

The decor is stunning. The hotel is very near Union Station, which is convenient to train travel.

Firstly, our room was clean and the styling was contemporary and classy. The woman at the reception was pleasant and kind. If you are needing a hotel in the crossroads area, it is a nice hotel. But be aware of area and the parking situation, it is valet only. We paid for on site parking ahead of time, but had i known that valet was our only option i would have chosen a different hotel. If you dont use the valet your other option is finding parking on the street which could put your car at risk for a break-in. This brings me to the area.... Its sketchy. If you go 6 blocks or so north you run into the t-mobile center and a nicer area. But this little stretch on grand st between crown center and t-mobile...... our guard was up. Just be aware.

Nester at the front desk went above and beyond. She was very helpful, kind and efficient. Shower was awesome, bed was extremely comfortable and room was very clean. I’m going to use some of the decorating ideas I saw in the room!
