Wij verbleven 4 nachten in Karijini NP met een 2wd campervan van 7.20m. 1 dag Dales campground, zonder power, grote plaatsen, eco toilet, douchen bij visitor’s center. Fortescue Falls, Fern pool heerlijk zwemmen, goede weg en 1 dag is genoeg om alles te zien. Daarna 3 nachten Eco Retreat zonder power, simpele faciliteiten, restaurant. Prachtig mooie gorges. Wij deden Joffre gorge (aan te lopen vanaf Eco Retreat), Knox (heftig klauteren), Weano en Hancock (vanaf zelfde parkeerplaats), maar geen aanrader met 2wd, al zeggen ze bij de receptie dat het wel kan. Wij waren er aan het eind van de droge tijd, het zal hier nog mooier zijn na The Wet.

We recently spent 4 nights at Karijini Eco Retreat and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We were aware that new management had taken over and we feel they are doing a great job in what could be a very difficult environment. The deluxe tents were very comfortable and the showers were hot. The restaurant was very nice and food and service was excellent. The staff were all upbeat and friendly. All the gorges were fantastic in particular Joffre and Knox which were very close to the retreat. We think everyone did a great job and made every effort to make to welcome.

We stayed for 4 nights in an ECO tent and explored all the gorges from there. Woke up every morning to a fantastic outback sunrise and was serenaded at night by the tuneful howls of the dingoes. Breath taking walks, views and climbs. Staff at the Eco lodge were friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. Breakfast was plentiful and dinner at the restaurant was a great experience under the lights of the Pilbara sky. We had the privilege to go on a sunset tour with Bee whose knowledge of the flora and fauna was amazing.

A great place to glamp. Staff are friendly. The king bed in the tent is comfortable. The bathroom is tired and water spreads across the floor in front of the toilet. No bathmat provided. No tea and coffee in room but a thermos is provided. Take a torch for the walk to and from the restaurant at night.

We loved our stay in the luxury eco tent. It was stylish and roomy with air con and provided much needed respite from the flies! We were able to visit the amazing gorges in the morning and return home for the afternoon to paint, sleep and read in comfort. The cooked breakfast and picnic lunches were included and very much appreciated.

Karajini National Park is spectacular and worth visiting. Sadly and so disappointing, Karakini Eco Retreat is poor, cant see night sky due to light polution, delux accomodaton is very dirty, not maintained, ripped sheet, hence, extortionately overpriced. Restaurant is great, restaurant staff amazing, great chef and kitchen team, great food.

Great location close to Joffre Gorge, very nice Van site, wonderful restaurant with great food & helpful friendly service. HOWEVER the experience was let down badly by the rundown, poorly maintained amenities. The amenities need upgrading at best or at least thoroughly cleaned.

I only have positive comments to make here! The location is perfect, in the middle of the Karijini National park, and close to most of the natural wonders to discover around (close at Australia's scale, of course! - plan for fuel). Super quiet, so excellent to relax. Friendly and welcoming staff at the reception and restaurant. The weather in April up there is still quite warm (around the 30°C) but totally bearable, and the mornings and evenings start to get a bit cooler so very nice for long nights of good sleep. Only regret is that we were there at a time of very bright moon, so we could not fully experience the wonder of the night sky. Something to keep in mind if this is part of your expectations when you go there (look at the moon phases before booking).

Just spent 3 nights at Karijini Eco Resort…. My husband and 2 young sons had a wonderful time adventuring out to the gorges. We found the tents to be clean and comfortable…… what a great surprise the restaurant was…. We weren’t expecting gourmet food in the middle of nowhere! The staff were very helpful and friendly and a special shout out to Angela….. she made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely a bucket list item.
