I stayed here as part of a 14-day self-driving road trip to explore some of Cambodia's lesser-visited ancient temples. Preah Vihear City is a good base to reach both Prasat Preah Vihear and Preah Khan Kampong Svay. Sokha Home is a very good guest house and is popular with local travelers. The night I stayed here the accommodation was almost completely booked and the following night it was full. Probably better to make a booking ahead of time. The room I stayed in was very large, clean, and modern, as was the bathroom. The bedding, pillows, towels, etc. were in excellent condition. The air-conditioning, hot water and Wi-Fi worked well. There was a refrigerator in the room but I did not use it. There is on-site parking. The breakfast only included toast, tea, and coffee. As mentioned in other reviews, the owner's daughter speaks English fluently and I'm sure she can help organize, tours, transportation, motorbike rental, etc. At a walk-in rate of $20 USD, I thought it was a very good choice and I would stay here again for sure.
