This is our second time staying at North Gate Hotel and it definitely will not be our last. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at North Gate Hotel and can not fault it one bit. All of the staff members (reception team, waiters, domestics team) contributed greatly to making our stay smooth and enjoyable. They attended to all our needs promptly and with smiles on their faces. The staff were all so warm and welcoming and we can’t thank them enough for their exceptional service. We were greeted by Sam when we came down to the restaurant for breakfast on a daily basis. He was very attentive, friendly and even offered us advice on places to visit whilst in Jaffna. The variety and quality of the food options available at the breakfast buffet breakfast were fantastic and it all tasted just as good as it looked! I will not hesitate to recommend North Gate hotel to anyone planning to visit Jaffna. 10/10 experience.

Excellent traditional lunch I had today thank you very much chef in north gate,Mr.Sam Manager as per my experience I got Excellent customer service and staff Roshanth,Suvalasham,Kajeepan,Tamilanpan,Elamaran and Mayathan Thank you very much.

Wonderful Stay in the Northern Capital of SriLanka. Nice and Clean Rooms with Tasty and Big spread of Authentic dishes also the helpful staff made our stay very comfortable. The rooms are big and spacious. Food was great. A quick check in process.

Even though the hotel is situated in the town of Jaffna, the environment is so calm. And famous travel destinations such as Nallur Temple can be reached within few minutes. Rooms are clean and well organised. Staff is very helpful and fluent in English. So communication is not difficult. Food is good and prices are not very high.

I recently stayed at this hotel for the second time over the past five days. The service provided by the front desk, room service, and restaurant staff was exceptional—they were all well-presented, friendly, and attentive. The restaurant offered exceptional traditional Jaffna style food, which brought back cherished childhood memories for us. The management staff deserves special praise for maintaining high spirits and ensuring that the staff consistently deliver top-notch service. We look forward to returning on our next visit. Keep up the great work!

Really nice hotel with amazing staff and a great restaurant. Everyone was so kind, welcoming and attentive. Be it their breakfast spread, or lunch option or dinner - it was sumptuous. All the staff, the chef and the manager were very attentive to details and were amazing hosts. I stayed there 10 days and met with many of them, had great chats with many of them including Y Roshanth, who I spoke to the most. Thanks North gate team - can’t wait to come again sometime.

This is a satisfying hotel to stay in Jaffna. The staff was really committed to provide a great service. The room condition was also satisfactory. Swimming pool was quite small but more than enough for ordinary swimmers. They had some bicycles which I did not try. It’s a hotel that I might consider to stay again if I ever visited Jaffna.

Overall an excellent stay. Catering staff went over n beyond to give us absolutely delicious meals each evening Special mention must be made of our personal waiter, V. Suvalakshan who went out of his way to make our dinners an absolute pleasure. Always on time n beautifully prepared n presented. The best hotel compared to all the other places we stayed in Sri Lanka. Even the front desk staff were very friendly n helpful.
