Great location near the boat dock for the Sumidero Canyon tours and a bunch of street food and other local vendors. The front desk was prompt and courteous and the room was spacious and clean. Good value for anyone looking to stay in Chiapa de Corzo!

Accommodations were on the basic side but comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Given its location near the market, the area is noisy, but it’s also culturally vibrant.

There’s a safe parking very close 70$ per night. Nothing to complain except there was no window in the room. The area around is a bit sad but it’s not the fault of the hotel. I think there was an earthquake in 2017? The reconstruction of the city is long.
You cannot be more in the downtown. The hotel is really « central ».

Ana at the front desk is great. Very helpful and friendly with great suggestions. She also speaks English fluently. Air conditioning kept us cool. 😎Bed was comfortable and the market outside quieted down after dark.

Hotel Central is a great hotel, especially for the price. It was comfortable and clean. We would stay there again.

Our room was much better than last time, it was new renovated. The bed was less comfortable than last time. The bathroom was very nice and looked new. The Patio could be better, there were some tables and chairs but it looked little trashy and not well cared. The staff is not really friendly and looked bored. The area around the hotel. Is quiet busy and little loud also in the night. The market area is very near, there you find everything you need like fresh fruit or something to eat.
