Hotel Casa del Mare - Annex

Overall we were slightly disappointed with the hotel. The rooms are amazing and very well decorated, the beds are comfy and everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast area was lovely and the menu was fantastic. For us, the hotel really lacks outside space, particularly when the roof garden is shut. There is no bar area in the hotel and the only choice you have is the beach bar across the road. The hotel restaurant was also shut whilst we visited. As the hotel didn’t have a restaurant or an outside space open, I’m really not sure it can be classed as 5 star. Bocasa across the road was nice but wasn’t fully open for the seasons and out of the 6 times we ate there only had the full menu on twice. We also came down a couple of evenings and once there was a private function and the other they were busy with a band. Both times we had to sit outside in a cold area and wait for tables to be laid up. It felt like the hotel guests were an inconvenience and they prioritised the visitors instead. The road out the front is very busy and noisy, but the views are worth it. I’d like to think the hotel would be a lot different when all of the facilities are open, but none of the staff could give us an answer when they would be! The indoor pool and spa are is amazing and the perfect place to relax.

Would highly recommend this hotel. From the moment you arrive in reception to Barbara and her team they can’t do enough for you. Breakfast is superb and I like the way they change what they offer on the cold table each day. The Bocasa restaurant across the road attached to the hotel is a little gem and we didn’t eat anywhere else. Our room with balcony was a lovely addition. Loved the chocolate provided by the turn down service. First visit to Monte***** and this hotel and of course the wonderful welcome, beautiful scenery and super friendly people has made me want to return.

We were staying in Tivat and wanted a spa afternoon & massage, which the hotel was able to provide at short notice. What a lovely little spa! Ultra polite& friendly staff, immaculate facilities and a really good massage. We had three hours in the spa plus massage, all for €50 each which was great value. We also had lunch at the hotel’s beachfront restaurant which was delicious. Highly recommend both experiences

This hotel is stunningly designed and the staff took care of us like family Senad at the front desk felt like my personal concierge and Luka from the restaurant was fun and attentive. Breakfast was different every morning and the cappuccino was consistently perfect. I loved it there.

Could not ask for anything more. Service was brilliant from start to finish. The hotel had a great atmosphere, was spotless and had wonderful staff, going above and beyond. Breakfast was great, a nice selection of cooked options as well as a good buffet to choose from. The resturant partnered with the hotel over the road was also fantasic. Really friendly service and some of the best food I have eaten. I don't have a single negative thing to stay about the hotel.

Barbara, Jana, Luka - you made our stay unforgettable. This hotel and its staff exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. Delicious breakfast with a la carte options, first class modern rooms, crystal clear warm waters (in October!), we didn't want to leave! In this boutique hotel you feel like you're part of a family. Amazing hospitality, great food choices and people, people, people. Црна Гора, ти си моја љубав!

The hotel is situated just seconds away from the beach and two breathtaking beach bars/restaurants, each special and unique in its own way This is one place in the Bay area where everything is near: Kotor, Tivat, Herceg Novi, even the Old Royal Capital (many thanks to the reception staff for suggesting this!!!). The hotel itself is just amazing, the decor is unlike any that we've seen so far, Breakfast is delicious and even has a la carte options! The staff is brilliant, went above and beyond to help us with every request or question we had. Thetr suggestions on on what to to visit around the area are immaculate. We didn't have an exact plan on what to visit, and yet, we've seen the most stunning hidden gems of the area, as as well as some of the classics (Kotor 0ld town is a must go!). The waiters and. waitresses are also very nice, hospitable, yet professional. Allin all, we want to thank all the staff for making our stay so incredible and unforgettable!Many thanks!

Never been in such disastrous boutique hotel in my life. On arrival at 14.35 hours room was not ready, although I asked for early check-in and their check-in is at 14.00 hours. I ordered bottle of champagne and they bring sparking wine. Electricity was off during 3 hours while working in a room where temperature is inside 27.3 C. They have no generator as backup for electricity failure, although they say they are 5 star hotel. Be careful when you ask the check when checking out as they charged me the bill of another room from the night before in their Epic restaurant which is also not correct, but this I will report to Michelin as this is certainly not a 1 star worth.
