Hotel room is clean, but hotel environment is not so good. Condo is a little rundown, and lights are not on

The building was old and in poor state (the photo advertised is not reflective) When we arrived after a long journey, we were told we needed a pin to enter the building. We had to pay a deposit of 300 ringgit to get this pin, and we were told that it may take 45 minutes to get the pin sometimes. There was another family we met there who were dismayed at what they saw. The advertisment is not reflective of what we got. We both decided to leave. Bystanders told us this often happens. It was a great disappointment.

It was a last minute decision to drive to JB and stayed overnight. The ********* platform was easy to use and the host reaching out to us made the check in easy. The place was nice and comfortable. Location was convenient.

Unpleasant stay for us
Masterbed room and toilet still ok but 2nd bedroom w/o window and toilet was terrible with sewerage smell throughout our stay.
Bed was hard, linens/cover were quite worn out and pillows got smells also.
Floor was not dirty but definitely not clean either.
Don't expect anything near to hotel comfort.
Only incentive is high floor and 24h security
