Comfortable 2 bed apartment with all amenities. It was very private, and safe and had beautiful views of the skyline and sunsets. Lots of birdlife and very quiet at night. No road noise and we felt very safe. All load-shedding was well managed with generator that kicked in so we had lights and security when needed. Good access control. Beds comfortabl and linen fresh and cotton. Our host, Elna was friendly and accomodating. Centrally located. We couldn't wish for anything better ... and all at a good price. Will return.

Situated in a beautiful area of Northcliff with a stunning view and close to our family for our Christmas get-together. The room was clean, well appointed and had everything we needed. Elna was a welcoming and excellent host! Highly recommended.

Lovely quiet and tranquil area. Close proximity to Restaurants, Hospitals and shops. The Guesthouse was clean and neat and had everything we needed. The book-in was smooth and well arranged. Will make use of them again.

We were very comfortable in the 2-bedroom unit during our two nights at Orangerie. The unit was well equipped and they are well prepared for load shedding. There was sufficient space to put our luggage, cupboard space if needed, iron & ironing board, WiFi, tea/coffee/rusks, and desk space with enough plugs to catch up on work. The view from this unit at the top was absolutely fantastic and we loved sitting on the chairs on the veranda enjoying the sunset and sunrise. Communication with the host was a pleasure - she was friendly, prompt and proactive, and she and her daughter kindly answered all the questions we had. The location is quiet yet central for where we needed to be. The unit, the bedding and the property as a whole was super clean and neat. The garden is well maintained and full of water wise plants and trees. We loved the skylights which brightens up the unit. The kids enjoyed Netflix and their room with en suite shower... just note that the second/upper level bedroom with 2 single beds, doesn't have a door in front of the bathroom so it would be best suited for a couple or one just needs to close the door to the whole room when using the WC for privacy.

We stayed in a spacious modern bachelor apartment with elevated views. Self-catering kitchenette. The spacious bathroom has a separate shower and bath plus two basins. Small safe. Security gate and fence. Off street parking at the property. Cleanliness immaculate. Heating and cooling by aircon. Emergency electricity provides lights and Wi-Fi. Very friendly and helpful host. My wife found the rusks a special treat. The first floor is reached by a staircase.

My stay at the Orangerie Guesthouse was wonderful. It is well located in Northcliff and safe. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed. Elna, the owner, was very pleasant to deal with and very helpful. The price was reasonable. The view was spectacular. I would definitely stay there again.

Orangerie guest house is very impressive. Perched on the side of Northcliff hill, it has amazing far reaching views out over Johannesburg. Our spacious one bedroomed apartment with its wall to wall/ floor to ceiling glass frontage was special and very relaxing. The modern apartment is well equipped and we especially enjoyed the very comfortable bed and superb bedding. The balcony is sufficiently enclosed (on 3 sides) so that even in winter it was useable. Would really recommend the apartment and my wife and I are looking forward to staying again.

The Orangerie is a wonderful little hotel, Elna is great host, the service is friendly, and there is a wonderful view. It's also in a relative safe area, something that is important. I'm coming here since 5 years and it's always a pleasure.

Our last minute booking that was handle with efficiency and ourr stay was exquisite as always. Orangerie is our favorite for a peaceful and comfortable breakaway with a breathtaking view. Definitely highly recommended!
