I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful 4-star hotel in Jinjiang, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The hotel offers a fresh, modern, and comfortable environment that exceeds expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the cleanliness, thoughtful design, and welcoming atmosphere. Compared to the Xiamen branch, my experience here was significantly better. The attention to detail, quality of service, and overall ambiance were remarkable. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably maintained, ensuring a restful and enjoyable stay. The fresh views from the hotel added a delightful touch to my trip, making it a refreshing experience. The staff deserves special mention for their professionalism and friendliness, always ready to assist with a warm smile. The facilities are top-notch, catering to both business and leisure travelers alike, with everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. I genuinely enjoyed my time here and am looking forward to returning in the future. Without a doubt, this is the best 4-star hotel in the Jinjiang area, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the region.

This is a newly opened hotel in Quanzhou/Jinjiang. The location is convenient for visits to west street, wudianshi. It is also near shopping malls typically would take around 10-15min by taxi. Staff at the front desk and around the hotel are professional and friendly. There is also a robot that helped deliver replenishments and food. There is also a self service laundry room which is great for washing your clothes. The staff even offered to help to send clothes after drying to our room. I.e. you need to no wait at room for collection. Rooms are located at high floors in general starting from level 16. Space is decent compared to other hotels. There was slight renovation smell in the room given the hotel is new but was not too bad. A small suggestion to the hotel: please offer body lotion as it is a common service in most hotels. Overall, a pleasant experience and I will definitely recommend choosing this hotel when you travel to Quanzhou/Jinjiang.

Excellent stay – spacious rooms and spectacular view The hotel offers very spacious, modern, and impeccably clean rooms, with great attention to detail. I stayed in a river-view room on the 25th floor, which offers a truly magnificent view, especially in the evening. The mattress and bed linens are of excellent quality, ensuring a very comfortable night’s sleep. The hotel is not located in the city center, but it is still convenient and well connected: about 15 minutes from the city center and approximately 35–40 minutes by taxi from the high-speed train station. The only minor note is that the electrical plugs are Chinese-style only, so European plugs cannot be used. However, the room is equipped with USB and USB-C ports, which makes charging devices easy and convenient. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Wanran is a charming Minsu homestay nestled in a beautifully preserved 100-year-old house, surrounded by a walkable neighborhood filled with heritage shophouses, cozy cafes, local eateries, and even a shopping mall. It’s the perfect balance of old-world charm and modern convenience. This family-run homestay — hosted by a lovely couple and their two children — offers a genuine and welcoming experience. The guest room is a renovated part of the old home: clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials. Beyond the nostalgic architecture, what makes this place truly special is the tea room. It’s a hidden gem filled with rare and high-quality teas sourced from various regions. Guests are warmly invited to sit, sip, and chat — not just about tea, but also about culture, stories, and everyday life. Even as a foreigner with only basic Chinese skills, I felt completely at ease spending time in the tea room, exchanging thoughts with the host. Language wasn’t a barrier at all — tea became our shared language. This was my first time staying in a tea house, and it left me with beautiful memories. If you're looking for something authentic, relaxing, and deeply rooted in local life and tea culture, Wanran is a must.

This hotel is not centrally located but it commands good river view ( 晉江 ). It is dated and needs immediate full refurbishment. The quality of breakfast in the cafe is very poor, and there is room for improvement in respect of the service of some staffs. However, I have to express my appreciation of the execellant service extended to us by Miss Lisa Yang, the restaurant manger, who offered to buy for us sugar-free yogurt when she learned that we don’t take sugar-added yogurt due to health issues. The Chinese restaurant is a bright spot in the hotel. The food and service provided there is sumptuous and outstanding. Anjia apartment is in nice residential area, just behind the Hilton hotel, and there is a food court nearby. It offers a beautiful view (see my photos).The apartment is not so close to Quanzhou as it looks on the map, and bus service is on an hourly basis. So, you are better using taxi or Didi. But it is not so far from Jinjiang Wudanshi Traditioal Blocks. The rent is pricey, but it is comfortable. Especially if it is a holiday they raised a price from 180 RMB to 326 RMB. Guests are required to do a self-check-in. However, there are no fabric towel, only paper ones. Imagine you dry yourself with a paper towel, which is disgusting, it is not enough, so you have to suffer after taking a shower. The owners who rent around dozen apartments do not want to bother to wash towels; they prefer lazy lifestyle of rich owners - easy money with less work.

Our stay at jinjiang was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating from the moment we checked in, making us feel right at home. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a very comfortable king-sized bed. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. The location was perfect for sightseeing, and we appreciated the fast Wi-Fi and the quiet surroundings for a good night's rest. We can't fault this place and will definitely be back for a longer visit in the future!

The taxi drop-off is along the main road, but it is just a short walk away from the hotel. There is a big signage for easy identification. The night market is just a short walk away, and has a wide range of food and snacks. A deposit would be collected during the check-in process at the front counter, the process was relatively smooth. Conversed in mandarin so there wasn't any language barrier. Cigarette smell is strong in the corridors and walkways. The walls in the room are not very clean, with visible stains. There's a gap when the toilet door is closed. Bedding and pillows were clean and comfortable. Towels were sealed. Water temperature and amount are not consistent, sometimes it would get either super hot or super cold. Bathroom is relatively big and clean, but there is no wet / dry separation. Fits the price paid, we only stayed one night due to a transit flight.

After further experience, it seems that this place is typical for this area at this price range. So I guess I got what I paid for. But still, I was significantly disappointed by the lack of cleanliness. The lobby seemed clean and new, but after that, the elevator, hallway, and room were disappointing. And although this room was a bit cleaner than a cheaper room at a different hotel nearby, the floor and bathroom were still noticeably dirty. There was a stain on the bedsheet, which I don’t doubt was perfectly sanitary, but still added to the impression of it being dirty. There were some free condoms and lube in a container near the bed, which made the place feel even more shady and unappealing. Besides those things, it was fine. The breakfast on the top floor (you have to go up a set of stairs to get to it) was ok, though quite simple, Chinese-style breakfast items. Overall, it was tolerable, and from experiencing a few other hotels later during my stay, I came to see that it’s hard to get anything much better than that for that price range. I paid about $28/night for this place. If you want a clean place to stay, you’ll probably have to pay a decent amount more money, probably more than $40.
