We booked 2 villas, the 4 and 3-bedroom units. We had a great time at Beidahu, super friendly people that work there and very helpful. The on demand shuttle was great! Everything was done by the team, restaurant bookings, gear rental, ski pass bookings! We are extremely grateful towards them Highly recommend this villa if you’re coming for a ski / snowboard trip.

Dit was het meest fantastische hotel waar ik verbleef tijdens mijn reis naar Noordoost-China! Het was mijn eerste verblijf in een ruimtecapsule, en het was echt een verrassing. Of ik nu 's ochtends het raam opende of 's avonds de lichten uitdeed, de sfeer was werkelijk uniek. Het uitzicht vanuit de capsule was adembenemend! De snowtubingpiste was slechts zo'n 100 meter lopen, en als zuiderling kon ik er niet genoeg van krijgen. Maar ik was vooral onder de indruk van de voorzieningen in de capsule. Het bed met veren en het donzen dekbed zorgden ervoor dat we elke nacht heerlijk sliepen. Het smarthomesysteem was ook erg handig. Toen ik 's ochtends wakker werd, kon ik Xiaodu gewoon vragen de gordijnen open te doen, en ik werd begroet door de uitgestrekte sneeuw en de overvloedige zonneschijn, een perfecte manier om de nieuwe dag te beginnen. 🥳 Ons favoriete onderdeel was de exclusieve butlerservice van het hotel, die 24/7 beschikbaar was. Mijn vriendin en ik werden echt verwend als kleine prinsesjes!!! Het ligt vlakbij het beroemde Little Rime Island, en de butler haalde ons 's ochtends op, wat erg handig was! Het uitzicht op Rime Island was het echt waard!!! Ik hoorde dat de Ula hotpot van het hotel ook erg lekker is. Mijn vriendin en ik waren een beetje teleurgesteld dat we er niet naartoe konden omdat ons programma te vol was. Zussen die hier verblijven, kunnen het ook proberen. Wij hebben echter wel afternoon tea in de sneeuw gehad en 's avonds een kampvuur, en het was precies zoals het hoort!

The butler service is meticulous, providing thoughtful care from check-in to check-out. The breakfast offers a rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes, ensuring you start your ski day full of energy. The hotel is well-equipped with a supermarket and a Japanese izakaya, fulfilling all your vacation needs in one place. Whether for a business retreat or a ski holiday, it's an impeccable top choice and has already been added to my must-visit list every year!

I am from Singapore. I added the inn’s phone number on Trip.com into my WeChat. Via text messages in WeChat (I can read and write in Chinese), I asked the inn owner how to get to her inn prior to arriving. Her replies were prompt. So, for non-locals, as long as you can access WeChat using your foreign phone number and can produce text in Chinese, communication would be fine. Apparently there is a local bus that goes to the inn from Jilin train station but on the day of my arrival, the bus wasn’t in service. The inn owner arranged a car to pick me up instead. There is a variety of food that can be ordered at the inn. I slept very well on the simple floor bed. Most importantly, the inn provide excellent service in ferrying the guests to and from the rime spots starting from early in the morning sunrise. The rime I saw on my visit was pretty. There were many guests during my stay. I highly recommend this inn if you come to Wusong island for the rime!

We had the most amazing time at Zhao Si Inn! Mr. Zhao, the owner of the Inn, was the most amazing host. The inn is very warm, welcoming, and very clean. Mr. Zhao also drove us out to see the night scenery at Wusong Island main area, where there were fireworks, fire performances. Afterwards, we had an amazing hotpot dinner at the Inn. The following morning, he took us to see the most incredible sunrise with the icy white Wusong trees lined up. After a hearty and delicious breakfast back in the Inn, he kindly drove us to the main area again, where there were so many fun activities for our whole family (including a young child). Mr. Zhao shared with us his deep knowledge of the area and is the most passionate and gracious Inn owner. We can't wait to go back again!

SONG JIANG BONANZA WINNING HOTEL — From Smoke Signals to Sacred Silence Arrival & First Sniff This old dog finally flopped down in Jilin City, relieved to rest my paws at the grandly named Song Jiang Bonanza Winning Hotel. “Winning,” I thought—until my non-smoking room greeted me with a stale tobacco haze. One whiff and I nearly cancelled the stay on the spot. Room Rescue Cue Mr Hong Dejian—calm, English-speaking, and clutching the keys to redemption. He patiently showed me alternative rooms until we found one that didn’t smell like a poker night. Had I left, I would’ve missed what came next. Comfort Food = Home Dinner delivered a miracle: stewed chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. One bite and—boom—mummy’s cooking. After days on the road, I finally found food in China that tasted like home. Tail wagging resumed. Care Beyond the Call Mr Hong returned with a portable heater, pointed out city landmarks, and even taught me how to take a non-reflective photo (yes, this dog learns fast). His easy friendliness softened the edges of dirty window panes and mostly Mandarin-only staff. I even showed him the ink-black towel after wiping the window—evidence, not barking. Menu Meltdown & A Win At the restaurant, I was handed a Chinese-only menu after saying I don’t speak Mandarin. I hit the roof. To their credit, reception listened: I received a call from the lady boss, and the issue was acknowledged. Then a hero appeared—the restaurant lady, who patiently translated dish names so I could choose lunch and dinner without guesswork. Gold bone earned. City Interlude: Jilin Catholic Church Between meals and meetings, I visited Jilin Catholic Church (吉林耶稣圣心堂)—a quiet pause from hotel hiccups. The church offered a moment of stillness, a reminder that even on a bumpy stay, the city holds pockets of grace. Logistics That Worked Back at the desk, the reception lady manager efficiently arranged my transport to Wusong Island—quick, competent, and reassuring. Breakfast & The Fine Print Breakfast surprised me in the best way: healthy, balanced, a thoughtful mix of local and Western dishes. One final bone to chew—early booking didn’t pay off as prices dropped later. A truly Winning Hotel would honour the lower rate at check-in. Verdict Despite communication bumps, this is a solid winter hideout: good Songhua River views, comforting food, and fast service when it counts. I read extensive reviews before I booked this hotel a few months ago, and my experience staying 3 nights here did support those excellent reviews. The services were superior and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was good and packed with sufficient proteins and nutrients to prepare for a full half day skiing. You can rent ski equipments ( even clothing) right at the basement conveniently after you are done eating. Ski passes and ski classes can be purchased right there, with the channel discount prices, so you avoid the hassle of doing these things at the Ski Service Center. There is a Tesla Model Y always ready to take you from hotel basement to the ski slopes (the ski-in and ski-out access was closed during my stay there but in most cases you could do it) and take you back to hotel whenever you call them a few minutes ahead of time). The hotel itself is located within walking distance to the ski lifts, so even without the transportation assistance, it is manageable by putting on ski boots and just walk back and forth with your skis. The room I booked has a bedroom with 2 twin beds and a living room with TV and dining table and a kitchen sink and stove ( but no utensils yet so don’t expect to cook meals there). Bottle waters and snacks were replenished daily for free. Besides its own dinning facilities and a small grocery store on the basement, there are plenty of options to eat and shop on the Main Street just down the road from the hotel. Overall, the New Story is a happy story and I look forward to returning in a year or two. (My advice for those who can afford flexible schedules, try to come here in slow season like now outside the Xmas and Chinese New Year windows, the snow is still quite good yet the crowds are not existent and you can get really good deals in staying, though the lift ticket is still not cheap, 430 RMB a or some $60-65 a day. Much more in busy season).

房間非常乾淨，床品又新又舒適，每天的服務也非常周到，長者需要的水、杯子、毛巾、紙巾、牙具、杯子等一應俱全。地暖温度很舒適。床側兩個大抽屜儲物也非常方便。 住處樓下就有餐廳，早餐和正餐選擇豐富。有特別喜歡的二米粥、牛肉拌飯和紫菜包飯。 去雪場也很方便，步行去雪具大廳7/8分鐘，回來小爬坡十來分鐘，也可以坐擺渡車3/每人或打車起步價回來。 雪票直接和房東預訂即可非常便利。 下次來還會預訂這裏

Smart traditionally themed hotel. Room was a suite, bedroom 2 large beds, plus separate large room with sofa etc. Location is ok but recommend using taxi app. Breakfast selection was not great.

風景絕佳，盡覽松花湖秋色及晨霧。宛若世外桃源。酒店很有創意，樹屋和洞穴各有各的特色。設施齊全。樓頂的觀景台很喜歡。飯菜好吃。
