Hotels bij Sangumburi, Jeju

I stayed one night at Jeju Ollero, but it felt like three days of pure relaxation. The location is excellent—close to restaurants, cafés, and the scenic promenade. The lounge window offers stunning views of the calm, deep-blue ocean, and the coffee shop next door was the perfect spot to soak in the ambience. Even more interesting for me as a royalist was to be greeted by Queen Elizabeth II memorabilia. 🥰 Mr. Yun and his family were exceptionally welcoming and even allowed me a late checkout at a small cost. I highly recommend this homestay and will definitely return on my next visit to Jeju.

I had a fantastic stay at Mir Guesthouse. The location is ideal, just a 15-minute bus ride from Jeju Airport. The accommodation is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities you might need. The owner is incredibly kind and supportive (and he speaks English), offering great recommendations for places to visit. He has an adorable little dog that adds to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The entire place feels peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Breakfast is included (you’ll need to request it a day in advance). They serve a delicious handmade egg salad sandwich with coffee or juice, a lovely way to start the day!

The counter staff are all so friendly and gave a wonderful welcome and reception. They were also extremely helpful. Had a night stay. Love the room. It was a good size room for 2 pax with a double bed and a single room. The design is simple yet elegant. The cleanliness was good. Nothing to complain about. Except, there is no toothbrush set provided. To bring your own toothbrush when you stay in this hotel I will definitely stay in this hotel for my future visit to Jeju.

De kamer was schoon en had een ligbad, en hoewel er stond dat het uitzicht op de stad had, was ik zeer tevreden met het uitzicht op de oceaan! Het was ongeveer 10 minuten met de taxi vanaf het vliegveld en er waren veel winkels in de buurt, zoals e-mart, Lotte Mart, Daiso en Starbucks, dus het was erg handig.

Not a real 5-star for sure. Staff very rude and arogant, facilities nothing special, BREAKFAST overpriced - they won’t let you in after 9:30, they’ll remind you twice to hurry up and they’ll kick you out at 10:00, gym and sauna too… good location if you want to hang down town and be close to the airport otherwise far from everything… No early check in- unless you want to pay 25€ to get into your room at 13:00!!!! I will definitely never come back again… too much waiting in line for everything, and little enjoyment…a waste of money! The only person that smiled and was polite was the cleaning least on Floor 15. Such a sweet soul. Mostly Chinese guests that they rip off for the big rooms and decent food… 🤯🙄😤🤬

Het ligt dicht bij de luchthaven en in het stadscentrum, dus het is in veel opzichten handig en goed. De parkeerplaats was niet zo druk als ik dacht, dus er was altijd wel een plekje, dus ik parkeerde snel. De kamer was ruim, schoon en het bed was groot. Omdat de vloer echter voorzien is van vloerbedekking, is het frustrerend als er geen ventilatie is. Ze vulden mijn waterfles elke dag en maakten hem goed schoon. Ik heb een keer het ontbijt geprobeerd en het was oké. Ik maakte me zorgen omdat er veel Chinese en groepstoeristen waren. Ik denk dat het kwam omdat het een verblijf van drie nachten was, dus ik verbleef in de laatste kamer, dus ik had een rustige tijd. Het merendeel van het personeel was vriendelijk en het was een bevredigend hotel!

The location of this hotel is really great. Close enough to the walking streets for many restaurants and shops. Plenty of options for souvenirs as well as Korean, and foreign foods. In terms of service it’s hard to rate because it is a self check in and self check out. The machine has languages Korean, Chinese, English and Japanese for travellers. Cleanliness for me is not high. In the hallway there was someone smoking so the enforcement of smoke free was not strict, in our hotels bathroom there were toothbrushes left from the previous guests which made us think that the bathroom was not cleaned well, and in the bedroom the table and chairs were what I would call “garden furniture” - not very comfortable. I recommend it if you are on a budget and you only plan to sleep and shower here. Otherwise I would recommend going elsewhere.

Betaalbaar. Er zijn veel supermarkten en bars in de buurt, zodat u zelfs 's avonds laat kunt genieten van een maaltijd of een drankje. ✔️ Nadelen: Geen parkeergelegenheid (parkeren in steegjes is krap en betaald parkeren is duur. Parkeren is mogelijk op het terrein bij een verblijf van 6 nachten of meer). De kamer is niet erg schoon (zwarte watervlekken op de wastafel in de badkamer en op de tegelvoegen, en er werd gebruikt toiletpapier onder het bed gevonden). ✔️ Speciale opmerkingen: De airconditioning in de kamer waar ik incheckte werkte niet goed. Zelfs met de krachtige airco aan op 18 graden kwam er alleen lauwe lucht uit. Toen ik het aan de gastheer vroeg, zei hij dat dit kon gebeuren als de airconditioning te laat werd aangezet, aangezien er maar één buitenunit per 10 huishoudens is, en hij verplaatste me naar een andere kamer.

The Philippine receptionist is so nice and she get up to call taxi for me at 5am, the location is grate near by the airport ,restaurant and also daiso but room and any amenities a little dirty and old. I got kind mold smell in my room that why here perfect for some people have early morning flight, not perfect for long term. It’s perfect for the cost
