Aewol the Sunset Resort

Interesting experience with private jacuzzi in the room. The view from our room was also a credit. Saw dolphins once. Breakfast was tasty but there’re only 4 choices. Also, breakfast was between 9:30am and 3pm daily. Staff was cheerful though. Room and facilities cleanliness were so so. There’s no choice of ‘Do not disturb’. Resort location is quite far. Accessible by cab or private car only. I think the room charges is a bit pricey.

Absolutely beautiful resort with a great view of the surrounding ocean. A must stay place for any couples looking to get one of the best views in Jeju. The name of "The Sunset" really lives up to the hype, as the sunset is stunning. There is also a cafe/restaurant next door with a fantastic selection.

I stayed at Aewol The Sunset Resort for 2 nights and had a great experience overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made the stay very relaxing. One of the highlights was definitely the view — it was absolutely amazing, especially during sunset. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made it a perfect place to unwind. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway with stunning scenery.

This is the best hotel for our trip in Jeju. The view is awesome. Hope to see it in summer and autumn!

We had a great stay at this resort. It was slightly far away from the city which we loved because we were just by the beach and waking up to the waves every morning was amazing! I think the only thing was that only the heater was switched on during winter, so it was quite stuffy so we had to open the balcony doors the whole night. But other than that, it was amazing!

This hotel was exactly as described and was very beautiful, the cafe downstairs was delicious and there was many options. The owner also provided a stocked mini fridge which was helpful if we got hungry and the location was within a walking distance of Gwakji beach which was quite quiet and also plenty of cafes. The room was amazing and whilst our private pool was not heated, the main one is, so it is perfect for when it is a bit colder too. There was also two cute little kittens owned by the property. It also had Netflix and other streaming services. My only pet peeve would be that if you are scared of insects, do not take the path behind the hotel and instead use the main road as there is a lotttt of crabs and I am not sure what they were but maybe cockroaches? Aside from that, amazing stay.

The hotel room is beautiful and the view from the window is spectacular. The hotel cafe too serves really comforting and good food (delicious french toast breads with scrambled eggs and sausages) and fresh juices with great service from the waiter and waitresses. The check in was also very smooth despite the heavy rain when we check in. My kids and I enjoyed the pool in our villa and especially the Jacauzzi. Location is convenient with nice eateries nearby but some restaurants close really early before 8pm. We particularly enjoyed the Italian restuarant nearby (Bon Boys Aewol) too. The authentic taste reminds my husband of Lygon street in Melbourne when he was studying there many years ago.
