Hotels bij Nuwemaru Street (Pedestrian Shopping Street), Jeju

We stayed here for 6 nights and had a very comfortable and pleasant experience—it truly felt like a home away from home. Housekeeping is done daily, which was a big plus. They replenished one 2-litre water bottles, provided four small towels, and emptied the trash every day, keeping the room consistently clean and tidy. The room comes with a small kitchenette that is well equipped with cutlery, drinking glasses, shot glasses, a kettle, microwave, and a full-size household refrigerator with both freezer and fridge compartments. There is also an electric stove, though the only downside is that no pots or pans are provided, so cooking is limited. One of the highlights is the large, human-sized window that can be opened to let in fresh air, along with an amazing scenic view outside. The bathroom is clean and modern, designed in soothing neutral tones. They provide good-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, and the high-pressure shower is excellent—perfect for a refreshing bath after a long day. The TV includes Netflix access without needing to log in to your own account, which is very convenient. The owner is extremely kind and friendly. Since we had a longer stay, she kindly allowed us to use the washing machine, provided clothes hangers, and arranged a place for us to air-dry our laundry, which was very thoughtful. The location is excellent—directly opposite the property is a 24-hour 7-Eleven. In the early morning, there’s also a café at the lobby selling coffee and baked goods, which is especially helpful as many eateries in Jeju only open around 10:30 am. One thing to note: check-in should be done early, as the staff do not work overnight. After 7:30 pm, there will be no one available to hand over keys. Overall, this is a very welcoming place, and we truly appreciated the comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. We would definitely return and stay here again.

I stayed one night at Jeju Ollero, but it felt like three days of pure relaxation. The location is excellent—close to restaurants, cafés, and the scenic promenade. The lounge window offers stunning views of the calm, deep-blue ocean, and the coffee shop next door was the perfect spot to soak in the ambience. Even more interesting for me as a royalist was to be greeted by Queen Elizabeth II memorabilia. 🥰 Mr. Yun and his family were exceptionally welcoming and even allowed me a late checkout at a small cost. I highly recommend this homestay and will definitely return on my next visit to Jeju.

리뷰 보고 예약했는데, 말 그대로 사장님께서 참 친절하세요.. 구경 다니다 숙소 언제 갈지 몰라 도착해서 베이비 풀 사용 여부 여쭤 보려 했는데 오후 5시 좀 넘어서 도착했더니 반갑게 맞이해 주셨어요. 연락처가 이상하게 되어 있어 연락을 못하셨다고 하시면서 베이비 풀 사용 할 거냐고 먼저 물어 봐주시고, 겨울이라 늦은 시간인데도 사용 할 수 있냐고 여쭤보니 청소하고 해주시겠다고 하셨어요.(2시간 반정도 소요) 마침 사용할 방에 풀 타일이 훼손 되어 수리 해야 된다며, 옆 방으로 옮겨서 사용하게 해주셨어요. 우리가 간 날은 평일이고 비성수기라 마침 방이 비어있어서 가능했어요. (애들이 추운데도 물 속은 따뜻하니 엄청 좋아 했어요.. 한 시간 정도 놀았는데 재밌어 했어요.) 방 옮기느라 쌀쌀하다며 온풍기도 주시고, 모닝 커피도 주시고, 아침 제공 안되는 걸로 알고 있어서 나가서 먹으려는데, 마지막 날엔 신경 써서 챙겨주셔서 너~~무 감사했어요.. 남편 일 때문에 여행을 잘 못 가서 정말 오랜만에 갔다 왔는데, 정말 잘 쉬고 좋은 추억 쌓고 와서 좋으네요^^

I had a fantastic stay at Mir Guesthouse. The location is ideal, just a 15-minute bus ride from Jeju Airport. The accommodation is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities you might need. The owner is incredibly kind and supportive (and he speaks English), offering great recommendations for places to visit. He has an adorable little dog that adds to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The entire place feels peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Breakfast is included (you’ll need to request it a day in advance). They serve a delicious handmade egg salad sandwich with coffee or juice, a lovely way to start the day!

The counter staff are all so friendly and gave a wonderful welcome and reception. They were also extremely helpful. Had a night stay. Love the room. It was a good size room for 2 pax with a double bed and a single room. The design is simple yet elegant. The cleanliness was good. Nothing to complain about. Except, there is no toothbrush set provided. To bring your own toothbrush when you stay in this hotel I will definitely stay in this hotel for my future visit to Jeju.

If you want to stay in Jeju city, this is a really convenient location. Make sure before booking your trip if you prefer Jeju city or Seongwipo. The room is spacious, has a fridge, TV, AC, and a fan. Also some storsge is given and the bathroom is large. My room only had limited natural sunlight but maybe other rooms are better. The towels are small but you can get fresh ones every day, the same goes for water: The couple running this place give you water bottles but you can also refill your bottles in the lobby. The furniture is dated but mostly clean. The bed was very firm (some like it, some don't). The AC could definitely use some dusting and I found a cockroach in my room and had tiny baby cockroaches in the bathroom. Bug spray is provided in the room and was effective (although my flip flops were the most effective tool). The extension chord in my room was faulty (probably too old) and when I plugged in two devices at the same time (for two outlets), it made crackling sounds indicating that the wires were catching fire. But it was immediately replaced with a brand new extension chord when I made the owners aware of it. Overall a cheap, conveniently-located hotel, but definitely no luxury experience. I would stay here again, but I will look for other options the next time.

Overall, this was a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel is in a convenient location. The staff were polite and helpful, and they responded when assistance was needed. I appreciate their service attitude and would consider staying here again.

Located on the ocean front about 15-20 minutes cab ride from the airport. Friendly staff helped get our laundry done. Excellent local restaurant across the street with English speaking host.

The overall experience is good. For the price paid it has all the basic amenities. There was no air conditioning in the room, but had electric blanket to warm you up at night. The only problem is there is no locker to safe your belongings and the room is not locked during the night, so apart from it it’s not bad overall. Very basic accommodation.
