Hôtel le Consul

This was a great hotel stay! Hotel le Consul was close to many great restaurants and I got to meet the owner of the hotel as well who was very friendly and welcoming. In addition, it was budget friendly, a very fair rate.

We stayed in this hotel for five nights, and every night slept very well. The hotel is located in a very busy neighbourhood La Fayette, but our room was silent the whole stay, partly because its windows looked into a courtyard (not a super nice view, honestly). The hotel has its own free indoor parking. A few cafes and restaurants nearby (I can recommend a shawarma in Good Food just across the street and the Turkish restaurant Saray over the corner) as well as a couple of supermarkets down the street. The city center and the medina are in 30-minute walking distance. Breakfast is the same every day, but good enough to start a day, although some fruits would be a good addition. The staff is very nice and helpful. I would recommend staying there.

The room was clean and tidy, the staff were polite and friendly, and the location was convenient. It was a truly unforgettable experience.
