Top tijd gehad in dit hostel. Personeel was supervriendelijk, behulpzaam en gezellig. De kamer waar ik in zat was echt groot en bedden waren fijn. De drankjes en het eten aan de bar waren heel goed en ook het zwembad was lekker en schoon. Locatie was echt top ! Super dichtbij het strand en het centrum was 5 min lopen. Zou 2 nachten blijven maar zijn er uiteindelijk 7 geworden. Zeker aan te raden !

GO there! It's amazing! We went to Costa Rica for many years and that incredible Hostel is one of the best we could recommend. The food is amazing, and well priced. The place is so clean I would give it a 6* if it was possible. The staff is amazing! We stay there for 12 nights and it was nothing but perfect. The pool is so much fun with the slide, good vibe and 10 seconds away from the beach where you can surf all day! They have such a great variety of rooms that fit all needs and budget. It's literally like and hotel but with the young spirits. Not to mention the roof top to chill and watch de sunset! The owner and manager are always on site if you need anything! STRONGLY, recommend! I felt safe and the bar was so nice it felt like paradise!

Absolutely loved this place. I’ve never stayed in a hostel before but wanted to give it a try because of how affordable it is. The place is about 10 steps from the beach, and the pool is super nice with a water slide!!! They also have an incredible rooftop with lots of hammocks and rocking chairs. You can see the ocean and enjoy a nice drink. The drinks and food at the bar were very fairly priced, and the staff were super friendly and helpful!!! They clean the entire place every morning and night. They also have an office where you can book at excursion for great deals. Highly recommend !!! I cannot wait to come back!!!

Great location, very clean! The bar staff was friendly and the food was pretty good as well. The manager Franco is great, helped me out with a situation and I can tell he really wants to do good things for the place, he’s doing the best he can with what he’s got. One of the negatives is the shared kitchen, could really use work but it was nice to have either way. Seems like best option if you’re in the area.

Our stay at Room**oard was impecable from start to finish! We traveled as a group of 26, and they seamlessly accommodated us. The hostel was clean, and the staff were awesome! We booked surf lessons with Room**oard, and the class was one of the highlights of our trip. At night, the pool bar was soooo fun. I would stay here again and recommend this place to anyone!

This was my first hostel experience and it didn’t disappoint. I had selected a private room and bathroom so there are many options available if you want to share a room or not. The staff are so helpful and fun and always in a great mood! I went on several excursions that I scheduled from Room**oard and they were all fantastic experiences. The owner, Bryan, is nice, friendly and helpful if you need suggestions to eat or places to go. The cleaning service was excellent! I had my clothes cleaned for 13 dollars and they were sparkling clean and folded. The pool was clean and nice. The top level is a must for watching the sunset and taking a nap in the hammocks. I had one of the best experiences and am so glad I chose Room**oard! I already miss it!

To be honest I have been there since the beginng R**s is an experience to say the least The main staff Fanco, Noel and wonderful women who run the bar ( including the two sisters who can out cook every chef in New York) always make this place unlike any Hostel in the world! Especially when it is being run by a guy who had zero experience running hotels, hostels or restaurants this place is incredible!! Brian!!!! If you look at him you would never guess he would even want to run a place like this. But he does it with such flair that I can travel around the world never experience a hostel such as R**!!!

Excellent location, great staff and customer service. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and were delicious. Pura Vida vibes. Awesome pool and water slide. Convenient board selection and access to beach for rentals and surfing. Cesar was instrumental in helping me with the tours we planned! Overall an amazing experience while visiting Jaco.

There were no hidden costs (for towels, AC, etc.), the wifi was super fast, the pool was clean, the food was great, and the best part was the staff and volunteers. We went on a hike with a volunteer named Melissa who was super fun and sweet. The guys at the front desk were very nice, the surf instructors were hilarious and made us feel very safe (shoutout to Ron, we love you so much), and the owner Brian is great!!
