Swan Novo Hamburgo

Very basic rooms and unwelcoming reception staff: Swan tower Novo Hamburgo is said to be a 4 star hotel from the outside and in the lobby but it lacks the very basic room amenities such as a bathrobe, a pair of disposable slippers, an iron and a simple coffee jug- no 4am coffee lol unless you called over the phone (paid extra) and that would probably be a bother understandably. Bar looked amazing but it was a real struggle to get anyone to help. Always empty and unattended. Rooms were VERY basic and shower needs a good glass and tile scrub. Black mould was spotted easily all over and away from eye level. the rostered staff did not smile or say hi at all for the 5 days we stayed. they appeared literally glued to the reception computers completely unaware of everything around them for the 5 days we stayed there and we passed by the reception dozens of times. One had to call their attention otherwise they wouldn't even raise an eye, or say hi, or try to look friendly. It was a very odd behaviour overall from the all-male reception staff, no help was offered at any time - actually one young man offered help once -, but we had to drag heavy suitcases around which they pretended not to see…a bit of a shock..absolutely no smiles or friendly welcomes either. It almost felt like we were a bother to the reception staff, definitely not staying there again for this reason. Amazing food though and free buffet breakfast was superb - chef’s burger and the kitchen staff were amazing.

Swan Tower has an environment of the 2000's. Is that bad? Not at all in this case. Although design and furniture resembles the 2000's, the property is well preserved, staff is friendly, internet connection is fast, and breakfast is average. Parking is free, and fare is fair. I booked a suite, with a spacious living room with a small kitchen, and a separate room. Location is perfect, in a nice neighborhood in Novo Hamburgo. I believe that Swan is in the top 3 hotels in the Vale dos Sinos area.

We love this hotel! Very convenient location, beautiful lobby and great breakfast ! The staff is the main reason we keep going back, however … staff is very friendly and Mathew goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we are comfortable and enjoy our stay . Rooms need an update, but other than that our stay was perfect.

Primeiramente nos ofereceram um quarto antigo, com cheiro de mofo e mobília ultrapassada. Após reclamarmos, nos transferiram para um quarto recém reformado. Porém as toalhas de banho sempre manchadas e encardidas. Reclamamos umas 3 X , resolveu quando falamos com o gerente, mas depois voltou tudo à estaca zero. Roupas de cama idem, manchadas. O Café da manhã é bom, fazem reposição dos alimentos com uma certa frequência. Serviço de quarto fraco, com poucas opções. O nosso misto quente chegou frio… Ficamos hospedadas por 6 dias.

Lamentável o estado de manutenção, extremamente velho e sem manutenção. Travesseiros sujos e sem critério de higiene. Numa localização nobre er nao corresponde ao perfil.

O hotel é muito bom, ficamos no nono andar e a vista é impressionante. Em sua hospedagem peça um quarto em um dos andares mais alto que não vai se decepcionar. Uma coisa que poderia melhorar, seria a modernização do hotel, a mobília e algumas coisas no quarto (frigobar/ar condicionado) entregam a idade e deixam um pouco a desejar. Fora isso só elogios, recomendo muito.

Hotel antigo, os quartos precisam de reforma! Torneiras com pouco fluxo, as toalhas velhas. Ao chegar, o lençol e o edredom estavam sujos e molhados. Ao solicitarmos a troca, foi trocado por outro lençol também sujo. Não recomendo!

Excelente localização. Quarto muito confortável. Ótimo café da manhã. Estacionamento amplo.
