Carvan Hotel

One of the rooms didn’t look nothing like room in the pictures. It was old, dirty, the bedding was synthetic, the bed was uncomfortable and the curtains were dirty. Second room smelled smelled on mold, the wall behind the bed was completely wet! We asked them to change that room they told us that they will do that tomorrow after breakfast nothing happened!! No one cleaned the room or emptied the trash for three days. On the last day we didn’t even have toilet paper in the room. At the end I forgot two of my jacked's in the room in the closet, I kindly asked them to send me back my stuff, but they told me that they didn’t find it. i contacted them as soon as I got home, so couple hours has past. The stuff did not bother to look closely into this matter, just told me that they didn't find anything. They even didn't contact me I was the one that contact them again. Not recommending!

Planned a stay here for the champions league final. Confirmed booking and arranged early check in but when I arrived I was told the place was full and my booking never went through because of my credit card was rejected (my card details were correct and no issues with the card balance). My guess is they wanted to get a higher price from last minute bookings, so over-offered rooms. I booked a place round the corner but was forced to pay a higher price as it was last minute and accommodation in high demand. The guy at the desk seemed to want to help, but the manager was not friendly or apologetic (cancelled my confirmed *********** booking right in front of me). I would not stay here

We have made a reservation one month prior to holiday! What a surprise when we understood that our reservation is cancelled! The hotel cancelled the reservation on the day of arrival!!! That's a SHAME! Unreliable!!!

The room, was very small, the bed dirty, the restroom smelly. The food was ordered from another place not freshly made. I have never been to a hotel room with such a low budget, smelly, and dirty. They don't know how to treat other well.

We had booked this hotel for 5 Nights. It was a nice hotel.Hotel staff was very cooperative and helpful and they entertained us with hot coffee upon our arrival. Very delicious Buffet Breakfast, which was included in our package. Our room was on the first floor. Good WiFi and nice lobby with table and cosy chairs to sit and relax and a coffee machine too. The rooftop was closed and now they had constructed a room there so no views from terrace anymore. I will recommend this hotel because it is near to all attractions at Sultan Ahmet and surrounding area.

Excellent value budget hotel in the heart of the old town and close to all the main attractions. Room was compact, clean and comfortable, with excellent ac, with modern, functional en suite shower room. A buffet breakfast was included in the deal, which we enjoyed during our three-night stay. Manager Iiter Ajman was extremely friendly and helpful. Only minor drawback were the steep, narrow stairs to our room. Also fairly steep trek up to trams, but only a five-minute walk (a little longer for the less fit/mobile). Range of bars and restaurants close by. In all, The Carvan was excellent value for money and would recommend for a short stay.

Отель находится в очень удобном месте, для туристов , посещающих Стамбул. В пешей доступности ,8-10 минут, площадь Ипподром , Айя -Софья, Топкапы и множество достопримечательностей. Остановка трамвая примерно 8 минут, удобно добраться в любой район. Найти расположение проще , от остановки Чемберлитаж, от ее середины ( остановки) по горке в низ, переходите дорогу и начнется , вторая часть горки - ступенчатая горка, вы почти у цели!) Единственный минус , подниматься утром в горку, на второй день уже более проще идти вверх, но Стамбул практически состоит из сопок. Номер не большой , но очень уютный, чистый. Уборка по вашему желанию ,хоть каждый день, просто повесьте табличку , что требуется уборка. Постельное белье нам поменяли на 4-е сутки , а полотенца и банные принадлежности пополняли по нашему требованию, В номере были тапочки, что дополнительно порадовало. Чайник, кофе,чай, кружки тоже в вашем распоряжении, находятся в номере. Есть в номере холодильник, правда он не охлаждает . Мы жили на первом этаже , шумно не было. Отдельно хочу написать о великолепных завтраках. Шеф этого гастрономического великолепия -Сильва, готовила нам каждое утро наивкуснейшие, разнообразные завтраки, не отличить от домашних. Каждый день на завтрак , нас ожидало что то новенькое. Отель , особенно персонал отеля, оставили очень приятное впечатление , очень внимательные, отзывчивые, уважительные ко всем постояльцам. Очень рекомендую всем , кто отправляется в путешествие по Стамбулу, этот отель. Обязательно вернусь в этот отель снова, как и в сам город , который покорил мое сердце!

На всех сайтах предоставлен как бюджетный отель . Грязный, фотографии не соответствуют действительности. Вселяют в номер в подвале, где сырость,грязь и на простынях следы от пыли, которая там лежит годами. Вместо вида на сад вы получите вид на обшарпанную стену соседнего отеля. Не рекомендуем! За такие деньги в этом месте можно найти что то приличное.

Отель просто отличный для бюджетного туриста! Находится в центре города, в шаговой доступности основные достопримечательности, остановка трамвая, метро, набережная Мраморного моря, магазины, кафе. рестораны, в общем все рядом! Удобная транспортная развязка, можно добраться в любую точку города без проблем! Теперь о самом отеле. Отель совсем небольшой, но что самое главное очень чистый! Номер небольшой, но чистый и все необходимое есть. В номерах убирают каждый день, что несомненно большой плюс! Завтраки на террасе характерны для городских отелей вкусные, разнообразные, всегда все свежее и вкусное! Очень доброжелательный хозяин и персонал в целом! Несомненно, в следующий раз в Стамбуле остановимся именно здесь!
