The property was beautiful but the food was the exact same every single day, the same exact breakfast lunch and dinner. The restaurants mainly consisted of the same food at the buffet. All restaurants were based on burgers, steak or pasta. Worst of all, no selection for children at all. My 5 year old ate chicken tenders for 5 days straight.

No Indian food...no activity for kids ,I booked because of children,but wrong choice.Room service guys don't know English, language problem.

This is a great resort if you plan to stay inside and enjoy all inclusive, sea, pools, etc, like us. We stayed for 4 nights and it was perfect, but since this resort is kind of away from the hotel zone, you can't easily walk to outside restaurants, etc.

There is a resort right out front that has blaring music all throughout the night. Food was not great, we basically survived off the fruit. Bathrooms in hotel room was uncleanly. Not much of anything to do, once you go to the ocean for a day you get bored with the lack of activities. Would not refund us for an unused night when we left a day early.

One of the best resorts that we experienced in Cancun my family just loved it and had ao much fun best food options and best staff ever worth every penny for sure and we will go back again

This was my husband and I's first time in Cancun. We really enjoyed staying at this resort and had a really good experience. Food and drinks were excellent, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The only bad thing that I would say about this place would be about the cancellation of excursions. We had booked through the resort to do a Jolly Roger boat night and a full day of fishing for a separate day, the weather was not in our favor unfortunately and both of these excursions were cancelled, but we were never notified of the cancellation. We would have to go back into the office for them to let us know that it had been cancelled. Otherwise, we had a great experience and definitely would stay at this resort again.

Didn’t like the fact that, even though it was all inclusive, felt like you always had to tip. Every time you would go up to a bar it would be room number which is fine but then you would have to sign a receipt area for tip. The main thing didn’t like about the resort was the pools were cold unless you were elite member and lack of restaurant choices. Also, after the seafood buffet three of the five members of party were ill with diarrhea within hours of the meal also, even though the mini bars in the fridge was supposed to be stocked daily it wasn’t and had to call the front desk. The resort overall was clean and the housekeeping staff was friendly and did an excellent job.

Our seven nights at Villa del Palmar were amazing. We weren’t sure what to expect since it was our first time to Cancun and an all inclusive. For the first few days we had to go to the concierge with questions about what was included often. They were very helpful and friendly at answering everything we came to them with. There was a bit of a language barrier a couple times but overall they spoke very good english.
A few things that I really liked about this property were the beach, which was cleaned every morning of sea****, the numerous pools, the aesthetic beauty of the property, the view from our room, and the room itself, and the travel agency on property.
A few minor things to point out that I wasn’t so happy about were that the shower water has an off putting odor that takes a couple days to get used to, the seals to the slider door and room door were insufficient causing the wind to whistle through them quite loudly. I ended up having to put a towel at the bottom of the door, and MacGyvering a makeshift seal made out of toilet paper on the slider door, and our TV had issues connecting to the network most of the time. Also, the activities we were interested in didn’t always happen as advertised, and a couple of our dinner reservations were canceled due to the restaurant being closed last minute.
Otherwise, the room service was prompt, the maids came to restock our fridge often and the food was better than expected for an AI. I highly recommend this resort.

The pools and resort beach are great fun for family. Food is excellent, especially the steak house. Recommended for group of friends.
