top locatie, met een prachtig uitzicht op het strand en de zonsondergang aan het einde van de dag. dichtbij de haven, Villamil en Concha de la Perla (snorkeltip!). het ontbijt was lekker en het personeel vriendelijk. Engels was echter beperkt voor veel stafleden. Schone kamers, maar niet heel gezellig. Wel een heerlijk balkon met een hangmat.

Stayed here for three nights on a tour with our family. We had four over 70 year olds and little kids. The hotel appears to have been built in phases over time so the rooms are a patchwork. Pros: Plentiful outside seating facing a great beach where you can see penguins, sea lions and other wildlife. Good beach for kids to swim as well. We enjoyed the cocktail and tapas happy hour in the evening for sun downers. The owner lives across the street and greeted us on check in which was a nice touch. Cons: Many of the rooms do not offer sea views - none of ours did and the rooms were kind of like caves with minimal sunlight. They also had a ton of stairs to get to! One of our rooms had 28 narrow, curvy stairs just to access. Fine for younger folks but beware if stairs are an issue. The restaurant is a third floor walk up - again no issue for most of us but we had a couple folks with mild mobility issues and this was an issue. Restaurant service was not the best - the first night we ordered our food at 630 and it arrived at 8 PM - and it took the staff an hour to inform my husband that what he ordered was no longer available. Breakfast staff were more attentive. Food was tasty though.

Great place to stay on Isabela. It is perfectly situated on the beach, a stone's throw away from the town center. Service throughout the stay was excellent. The breakfast offered was reasonable. We did not try their restaurant outside of this.

Amazing beach front hotel! We had a 2nd floor room with the view of the beach and ocean. We had spacious room and balcony with hammock to relax. I would recommend it to anyone. The room had AC which was much appreciated. The restaurant could be a little bit better but there are other options in the area so you can find something you like.

Great place! OUTSTANDING!!! We are highly recommended. The service was amazing, such a warm welcoming and atmosphere. Very nice, clean and comfortable. Hosts are very friendly. Breakfast was very good with many choices. Good Wi-Fi. Great location. Couple from New York.

Had a lovely beachfront room with balcony. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of town and also the speed or drop off. Breakfast was good. Weirdly they moved our bed around the room after our first night! Thought we had gone in the wrong room. Bar service was slow but did good mojito and pisco sour. Only complaint was the lack of atmosphere. Think the hotel was fairly empty but we were the only people at breakfast and at the one dinner we had there. Dinner was nice , a bit more expensive than in town but not hugely so. Some items on menu were expensive and it says it is fine dining. Our meal was very nice but I wouldn’t call it fine dining

Great location and staff is amazing. Perfect place close to everything and the view can't be beat. Rooms are a bit dated but the patio is to die for. Right on a beautiful beach. Staff was always willing to help and accommodate every way they could. Would definitely stay here again when we come back!

We stayed at the hotel 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Quiet and clean rooms. Ate at restaurant 3 of 4 nights and wished would have tried our first night as food was excellent. Nicely priced and great portions… the food had tons of flavor and freshness! Highly recommend this place.!

Casa Marita was the most visually appealing hotel I stayed at in the Galapagos. It's located directly on the beach with a style and decor to match - hammocks and bamboo and palm trees and bright colors abound. There are comfortable seating areas on the beach and views of the ocean from the restaurant and a well-conceived internal courtyard around which the property is built. The rooms are large and the furnishings are nice, though relatively limited as the other hotels in the Galapagos were without even a TV in the room. There was even a nice, stylish stone shower. The biggest issue I had was the tiny bathroom past the shower. I could barely squeeze through to the sink or use the sink or toilet without bumping my head on the sloped ceiling. Even worse was that the bathroom reeked with a moldy, mildew smell, probably because it was built into a corner with no ventilation. The smell remained even with the fan left on. I dreaded every time I had to use it and it detracted from an otherwise very nice hotel stay.
