Symphony Suites Hotel

Greeted with a smile by the door boy upon arrival. The check-in process was very smooth. We were given free hi-tea vouchers from 4 pm to 6 pm. However, when we arrived at 5 pm there was nothing left but tea and coffee. Only 2 types of cakes were served after 10 minutes of waiting. We were given a room on the 8th floor of the Deluxe King Suite which was very comfortable. We were informed that there was a power outage at 12:00 am for about 10 minutes. Yes, there was a short shutdown of just a few seconds. However, at 1 am there was another shutdown and we fell asleep. At 2.30 am we woke up and realized the electricity was still not on. Then we called the reception to ask why our room was still blackout. The reception informed us that all maintenance staff were unavailable. So we asked to change rooms because we were starting to sweat. After a few minutes a member of staff came to our room to deliver the key to a new room on the 4th floor. We were told that the room had been upgraded to a Family room with 3 beds. However, we are more comfortable in the old Deluxe King Suite room. So we had to move to a new room around 3 am and it was quite a hassle to pack all our stuff early in the morning. It was also our mistake for not informing earlier. Finally, the problem is solved. The breakfast was delicious and before checking out, the reception staff apologized about the incident. We accept it and overall we rate this hotel as very good. Appreciation to all your staff who give their best service. Last but not least we found the cheapest rate and smooth transiaction with Trip.com 👍🏻

what i like : - easy to find - cover car park - picture same as what you booking - quite & clean what i dislike : - no invoice if you book online (must request from your online provider) - less variety breakfeast - televisyen not clear - no plug for use, all occupies with existing device - glass door cant lock

Overall, my stay at this hotel was satisfactory. The room was clean and comfortable, although a bit dated in terms of decor. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but the service could have been more prompt at times. The amenities provided were sufficient for a short stay, but nothing exceptional. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation options. While it may not be the most luxurious or memorable hotel experience, it served its purpose adequately for a budget-friendly option.

Hotel is nice, out of town but not very far. easy to find food nearby.

The room was a bit dark for me and at night it was noisy with ppl outside doing motorbikes racing till 1am. Breakfast was simple and limited choice. Aircon take awhile to cool the room. Only have body gel in the bathroom & no Shampoo or conditioner. So best you get your own. Water heater not working and only able to shower with slightly warm water.

i and my family very satisfied about the hotel.the hotel also give the free voucher to us for hitea upon check in.the location very strategic.only 5 minutes to tasik cermin.and took less the 20minutes to access pusat bandar.

Their hotel room (King Deluxe) is quite old-fashioned and the carpet was abit sticky but already refrunished and quite big in size with living room. The location is quite strategic, just within 15 minutes can reach Ipoh Parade.

Room is big & comfort for 3 adult. Happy with the covered parking & room nice mountain view. Breakfast buffet variety is so so only. Other than that, everything is good for the price we paid.

The room is huge and clean, we had almost the highest floor and get the best view. It took us 15-20 minutes to the Ipoh city, which that's not bad. And, other touristy places such as Tasik Cermin and Kek Look Teng Caves are only 5 minutes away drive from the hotel. The bed and pillow are comfy. The staff are nice and very welcoming. We stayed for two nights and we had a decent spread of breakfast. The menus changed daily. I loved the teh tarik served. Padu! The room lights are appropriate for romantic and relaxing ambience not good for doing work. Only one thing that needs improvement is there is not enough socket plug for charging phones/tablets/ironing. Cause only have one availble in the room, we need to take turns 😅. Definitely we will stayed at this place again.
