Hotel Eden Garden

A 3star hotel. Hotel staff are very helpful (especially Maya - resident manager). No much nearby restaurant... So if one is without a car, you will have to eat in hotel restaurant. Rooms are reasonable sized with air-conditioning and fan. Has a bar counter.

Rooms, clean & service done daily. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is excellent and value for money.. Breakfast & Dinner buffet was superb and I recomend all my friends to stay at the Eden Garden Hotel in Sigiriya when having the vacations.

A family friendly hotel with a beautiful garden.. Rice and curry is a must try. They arranged me a jeep safari. The service is great and the pool is awesome after a hike at lion Rock.. Definitely will visit again..

The staff does its best to make guests comfortable, but cannot prevent our experience from being not only positive. The hotel is in need of a thorough renovation, it is run down. The air conditioner in our room is in need of replacement and makes too much noise to leave it on at night. The refrigerator was old and rusty, the sink was loose, and very annoying the shower either gave way too hot water or too cold. The beds were downright bad and the sheets were much too small. The tiles on the walkways are frequently broken which creates dangerous situations. The tiles at the pool are also frequently broken and the water does not make a clean impression. Our son opened his knee on a broken tile in the pool. The pump and filter system seem to be too little in operation. The restaurant makes an unsociable impression while the price point suggests a five-star hotel. Three beers are sold for $13.75, which is more than we have paid anywhere in the past three weeks. Eating at night, therefore, we would not recommend. It seems that the owner does not put the customer first; the fact that his own new Toyota Prado is parked pontifically in front of the reception where guests are normally welcomed is quite exemplary of this. What does confirm the picture is that in addition to a 10% service charge, credit card payments can only be made in $ at a very unfavorable exchange rate -/- 10%. This is downright bad. Customer focus best management!

Value for money & a ideal place to relax. all staff are very helpful & humble. Food excellent taste. We recommend that the Hotel Eden Garden is a place for the family to enjoy the vacations.The pool side & the Gym and also the bicycle rides makes your stay a home away from home specially in the morning the birds singing and it makes your day.

I stayed with my family for two days in this Nice grenerary enviourment. Good air condioned rooms with tea/cofee facilities . Stafff is very helpful and supportive too. Walking distance to the Sigiriya turning junction. Good toilets and hair drying facilities too. Mini fridge is alos in the room. Enough rooms to accommodate even with a very short notice

La piscine et les jardins sont superbes, le personnel hyper accueillant et bienveillant. Nous étions seuls dans l’établissement, nous avons été très bien reçu ! Chambres un peu sombres mais très agréables donnant sur le jardin et proche de la piscine. Repas très bons et copieux. Petit-déjeuner inclus délicieux ! Pancakes, omelette, fruits frais, jus de fruits ! Très complet ! Le meilleur que nous avons eu au Sri Lanka. Je recommande !
