Amazing hotel, great hospitality. Highly recommended. Location is central of Nanxun Ancient Water Town. Surrounded by foods and performances. We were very warmly welcomed, served with a tea set and an introduction to the entertainment surrounding the area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided is amazing. Room is clean and filled with amenities. P/S: owner has two cats, 元宝 and 馒头. Very cute

Amazing hotel with truly exceptional service. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly taken care of, starting with a thoughtful welcome tea and snacks. Our luggage was promptly handled, and the room was impeccably clean, complete with luxurious amenities. What really stood out were the thoughtful touches throughout our stay—earplugs for a restful night, a light soup prepared as a supper snack, a lovely birthday gift, and even a farewell snack upon departure. These details made our experience extra special. The lady owner was incredibly kind. She went out of her way to help us arrange a shuttle bus back to Hangzhou! We were completely charmed by the genuine hospitality and friendliness. A perfect stay—easily a 10-star experience! Recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay! The hospitality is exceptional; the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The 'Tea' theme room (囿荼) is stunning and impeccably clean. We especially loved the tea concept and the exquisite tea set that came with the room—it was the perfect way to enjoy a quiet, relaxing moment after a day of exploring. A well-deserved five stars!

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Youshe guesthouse. The guesthouse compound was tastefully decorated with lots of greenery around. The location is super convenient as it is right by the river canal. The view was very beautiful as we strolled along the canal in the evening after dinner. The hostess and staff were very helpful. We were mistakenly dropped off by the didi driver at a wrong location. The guesthouse owner came and picked us up. The complementary three-cup afternoon tea was delicious accompanied by local tidbits especially the homemade greenbean cakes. The self-served on-site laundry facility was a bonus since we were at another city for six days prior to Nanxun. Breakfast was mainly local Chinese fair but wholesome and healthy. The in-house meals were delicious home-style local cuisine which I enjoyed very much. Beware of ordering the steamed fish though if you’re not crazy about eating whole fish with tons of fine bones. It would be very helpful for foreigners if this was mentioned in the menu.

We were welcomed warmly with helpful staff as well as traditional snacks and tea. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the landscape was very beautiful. The room has a great view overlooking the river and had all the amenities, it was very clean and the staff were very accommodating asking if we needed extra towels or blankets. They have very friendly cute cats, a cozy shared space as well as a restaurant and cafe at the reception. This was a great relaxing experience.

Breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations, and the service throughout our stay was outstanding, so attentive, kind, and genuine. Everything about this homestay made our trip even more special. If I ever visit again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed for two nights over New Year 2025/6. We were given instructions on where to park (you can't actually drive into the water town) and were personally met by a lovely member of staff to escort us to the hotel and carry our luggage on a trolley. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is a converted old house and the conversion has been done to a really high standard. The room was suprisingly large with a lounge area and high quality fixtures and fittings. The location is right in the heart of the tourist area. One of the nicest places we've ever stayed. The staff are exceptional. Breakfast isn't a buffet, beautifully presented, very Chinese style.
