Errantry Lodge & Studio

We had a relaxing stay at Errantry Lodge which was recommended by one of our friends, and it even exceeded our expectations. We felt home right away when we were greeted warmly by Arthur upon arrival. He gave us a very clear room tour, the room was very spacious and bigger than our expectations. We could find everything we needed most there. We fell in love with the deco and every little details it provided with host's best efforts. The mattress and pillows were so comfortable and all the areas in the room were super clean. As an Airbnb super host, I care the cleanliness the most, and I think it is the one of the most important attitudes to the guests. Needless to say, Arthur's kindness and attentions to make sure our stay was a good one. Our breakfasts were prepared by Theresa who we didn't have a chance to meet. It was so delicious and healthy. She even prepared the amazing vegetarian meals for my husband. Book this place now and you won't regret if you are coming to Taroko Gorge or any places in Hualien, Thank you so much Arthur and Theresa! Will definitely stay again!

Arthur was extremely helpful. He arranged transportation to meet our tour to Taroko Gorge and lent us bikes to explore the local area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of options for places to eat in the area. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely weekend stay at Errantry Lodge, mainly to go visit Taroko Gorge. Arthur knew both English and Chinese, which was helpful. He and Theresa followed up regularly to make sure our stay was going well. We booked the Taiwanese-style breakfast after we checked in, and it was so delicious and healthy! A lovingly homemade meal with diverse ingredients. The room was larger than we expected with a modern bathroom and shower. The Lodge fulfilled our request to borrow bikes, although in the end we didn't have time to use them. The neighborhood seemed safe, charming, and quiet at night. If I had to pick one downside, it would be that the location is not walkable to the downtown night market, but the 307 bus stops on the main road right outside and goes straight there. Arthur also gave us his taxi contact number and a few tasty local food recommendations. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

感謝好友tt, 建議我跟媽媽及兩個姊妹到花蓮旅行時，一定要到怡然居小住！果然無介紹錯，我們住得又貼心，又順意！ 首先，怡然居的房間各有特色，可就自己的人數，喜好及需要而選擇。 再者，琴南大哥及大嫂對旅客的需要十分細意：剛抵步時會奉上有機初菊花茶，滋潤風塵僕僕；每天我們遊覽返"家" 時，他們又會在茶几上，放下幾個潤肺水果，天天新款，令人難忘；在房間的一角，他們放置了一盤盛放的虎尾蘭花，而虎尾蘭花的特色是專門吸收環境中的廢氣，相信黃錦星局長也會替他加分！ 當他知道我們有意到花蓮遊覽時，琴南大哥便建議我們可考慮選用他們特約司機導遊何大姐。何大姐果然沒有令我們失望，她經驗豐富，為人爽朗，發音清晰，是一位 120 分 的司機導遊！ 由於我的姐姐是素食者，但也難不了何大姐！ 媽媽是已年介87 的長者家，未能走動太多，做與琴南大哥商議後，何大姐替我們到本地的一所護老中心，免費借了一輛輪椅給我們，讓媽媽可更輕鬆旅遊，自由自在！ 最後，也亦是最難忘的，在我們離開花蓮前一天，琴南大哥替我們三姊妹和媽媽，拍了多張合照，以作留念。 誰可以替我們，在花蓮這幾天，安排得更細心貼意？真要再三謝謝琴南大哥一家及何大姐，讓我們輕鬆暢玩花蓮！ 特此聲明，我們並沒擁有怡然居的股權！
