Just departed from a wonderful 2-night stay at this brand new property. We stayed in a panoramic suite which was beautiful, had a fantastic view of the park, and had high end amenities such as a Dyson hair dryer which my wife loved. We were especially well taken care of by Roy in the valet department, who took us most everywhere in the BMW house cars. He truly went above and beyond and helped to make our stay especially enjoyable. The one point of feedback I would have is that the service at Sol 7 could use some ironing out, but certainly not a big enough inconvenience to dissuade us from returning.

Gorgeous hotel, great service. Mark Flores was extremely friendly and helped recommend a great place to eat dinner nearby. Only recommendation would have been to have music or a dj by the pool as it was MDW and zero music could be heard. We had rented a cabana during our stay and would have enjoyed that.

Thank you all who made my stay feel so special!! Everyone had an amazing attitude, great smile, and the staff was very attentive! From the front desk to the pool deck, restaurant, spa, coffee shop and even on the residents side, everyone was so welcoming. Special shoutout to Ljubomir, Kaneshia, Sam, Victor, Mark, Russell, Mary, Tenisha, Arianna, Nico, Pedro, & Phil.

Excellent hotel the staff were super friendly and helpful from joy at the front desk to my guy at the bar they made my stay memorable that I’ll be back again lovely spacious rooms comfortable Bed pillows are lovely they will give you happy dreams and the bathroom is basically a spa honestly I can’t wait to come back to Houston.

Angela was amazing! She focused on all areas I asked, and I left feeling extremely relieved and relaxed. Great spa amenities - sauna, gorgeous decor, and an amazing lounge suite. Beautiful views overlooking Buffalo Bayou Park from the lounge suite. Definitely visit if you’re staying at the Thompson, or if you’re a resident / in the area!

Very nice location. Great restaurants coming in the next few months that are walking distant. Nice pool area with view. Very nice elegant rooms.

My wife and I spent a wonderful night at the hotel! We were plesaantly surprised by an upgraded room that had amazing skyline views of downtown Houston. A beautiful organge sunset and subdued sunrise were a speacial treat. The hotel is new and very modern in feel, with cool art and eclectic furnishings. The staff was amazing — welcoming, friendly, courteous and professional. In particular, Mary, Ben and Arianna at the front desk, and Tika in Sol 7 are great ambassadors for the hotel! We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay in furture.

The property is modern with a really attractive aesthetic and the rooms are comfortable. I had a corner king suite with an incredible view of Buffalo Bayou park across the street- which makes it very convenient to walk the park trails. It has a huge shower room. Literally a room. It also has a very comfortable soaking tub.
The food is good and creative. The red snapper ceviche is absolutely delicious and light and full of fresh flavor.
The 'star' of the stay is definitely the staff. Every single person at the front desk, restaurant, bar, including the cleaning staff was super friendly and thoughtful. AND they remembered me from when I stayed a couple of months ago. They made me feel very much at home. I will definitely be back!

The Thompson bellhop was great, checkin went well had to wait room was not ready arrived a little earlier. Food was not much option. When we went to our c room after lunch to get settle from long a long flight. One of our beds had blood streak on sheet. Please make sure you check your bedding. The manager called right away to rectify the situation in which I was pleased to see and for this would not say not to stay because the service was phenomenal.
