One-Eight-One Hotel & Serviced Residences

Honestly the best room to stay for a staycation or for travelling. Price is a bit high, but it worth the price ! Very much recommend to stay.

We stayed in this hotel before, and our first visit was great. The receptionist was so wonderful and upgraded us, and the room was beautiful, clean and quiet! It's also 5min from the metro station. Amazing! Because of this we booked to stay again for our next trip without hesitation! However, on this occasion it was disappointing after such a wonderful first impression. We were upgraded to a higher floor, but the room was a good size, and the view was okay. The city view is not so much 'city', but out onto the neighbouring residential area. The bathroom door was broken, and would only close if locked from the inside; which would've been ok, but the bathroom has night lights you can't switch off, so the room was never dark enough to sleep. The blinds had holes and didn't close fully at the bottom. The dressing gown had holes all over it! The ventilation was noisy and despite having a switch, didn't turn off at all. The shower door even had orange mould at the bottom, and the toilet flush only worked if you held the button down. Considering the price of the room and the quality it presents itself, it felt so disappointing, and was such a let down after our first stay was so good.

Christmas Staycation at 181 🎄✨ The hotel is clean and cosy; staff is polite and welcoming. Lucky enough to have an upgrade to a high floor room with bath tub 🛁. The lobby is at the 2F, while guests could directly get to the rooms through the lifts from G/F. Therefore we could always avoid the crowds👍🏻. Convenient location, just a few minutes walk from HKU station. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby👏🏻

Sea View room, but Sea View with warehouse of port. There is no mirror in the room but only the bathroom. All drinks in freezer are free for the first time. The 7 to 11 CVS near the hotel is located near Hong Kong University Station, a 7 or 8-minute walk away.

I booked a hotel for three nights, asked the customer service department about the supply of mini bar, and was told that only one opportunity could be provided. And it is inconsistent with the description on the QR code, and no noodles are provided

The check-in procedure was smooth and the counter staff was helpful and friendly. Was surprised by upgrade to harbour suite and was stunned by the amazing view of the room. There were quite some in-room fitness gears and yoga mat provided, which was definitely a good fit for sports lover. Soundproof was quite good so it was good for quality sleep. Stable showering supply and water temperature. Hotel room was clean and organised.

Service is quite good. Room is spacious. The only BIG downside I felt was during sleep time, despite staying at level 27, there is still noises from the outside/ roadside traffics and even neighboring rooms. Bed is comfortable but just could not have a good sleep due to these sound distractions. Amenities is great. Water Pressure in shower is good too.

Good value for money. Clean, comfortable bed and powerful shower. With good facilities including gym, convenient self service laundry room, vending machine for snacks and drinks, games room incl billiard, darts, racing car game… restaurant inside hotel with good local food. There’s a big supermarket YATA just next to hotel. And, staff are all very friendly and helpful!
