I had a short stay at this hotel with my husband and mother-in-law and did not have a great experience for several reasons. 1) The front desk person could not pull up my membership when I checked in and indicated that I should ask the manager the next day. I’ve been staying at Marriott hotels for a long time and this is the first in which the front desk could not pull up a members information. Not to mention, for the most part as I would come in and out of the hotel, the front desk person would not be there. 2) The room was not cleaned. Apparently they only clean every other day which the front desk did not explain nor ask. When my husband asked for clean towels, the night front desk person did not know why our room wasn’t cleaned. I found out after I checked out. 3) The free coffee in the lobby was cold and although there was someone cleaning in the area, they didn’t clean the coffee area so there was coffee spills all over. 4) The shower pressure in my room 420 was super low. My quick shower turned out long. Although it improved a little after I ask the front desk if they can fix it, it was still slow. The hot water was also not hot so I suggest avoiding this room. It did make me wonder as to why the front desk offered me any room on any floor except for the first floor (all rooms on the first floor are booked). Maybe because folks knew about the water pressure? For the price that I paid, I think it was way too based upon the experience.

The stay was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is located next to a Mall area which has lot of restaurants, retail stores, etc. The breakfast was good. I am vegetarian and had roasted potato most days which was nice! Receptionist was respectful, friendly and willing to help beyond her duty.

This was a wonderful room and a great hotel. I took advantage of breakfast every day of the stay and it was different enough to make the the variety enjoyable. The only drawback of our stay was that we were supposed to receive housekeeping every other day. Unfortunately, we did not get housekeeping at all during our 4 night stay. I was able to go to the front desk and get additional clean towels, and the girl cleaning on our floor emptied the trash cans for us. However, it would have been nice to have a refresh during the stay. Otherwise, the room was perfect for our getaway. I would definitely stay here again.

My son was getting married in Grand Rapids and he lives in Holland. I wanted to be close to his house to spend more time. Also, it was mother and father anniversary and they stayed at the hotel with us. Everything is great!

We were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is very modern and our room was spacious. Location worked great for our stay.

Front desk staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. Property nicely appointed (bland decor), clean, breakfast included. Convenient to major highway and commercial shopping centers with shopping and restaurants. Need to drive to downtown Holland and local attractions. Good value for the price.

The property looks nice, and the breakfast is good. But don't book a first floor room here. We laid awake half the night as due to tremendous noise caused by the guests above us, walking back and forth across the room. All the fixtures in our room were rattling and banging. I don't think it was anything more than walking, so it had to be a structural issue. But we were awake until after 2 am and then awaked with it again before 7 am. The desk clerk said she could not issue any type of credit because a manager was not on site and because we had booked through *******. We took our concern to *******, who said they contacted the property several times but got no response. It was a very disappointing getaway for a couple who rarely has the opportunity to take one.

First off, we were here for one overnight stay after going to a GVSU football game. We opted for King room that had a separate couch with trundle for our teenage son to have his own space. The king bed and pillows along with electronic hook ups were all very nice. The trundle bed was uncomfortable and the surrounding walls, ceiling/floors seemed to carry any noise and vibrations throughout. The facility had a nice breakfast bar and guest services was welcoming and accomodating. Not sure we would stay again due to the noise from simply walking across the floor not being buffered.
