The Club Barbados - All Inclusive - Adults Only

Beautiful small resort on the Caribbean Sea side of the island. Very quiet and relaxing. Plenty of lounge chairs and seating throughout the day. The food at all meals were great, never had a bad one. My favorite was the bbq night with the ribs! Get the snorkel gear at the water sports shed and see an amazing amount of fish. There is no need to book a snorkeling excursion. You have a free one right at the resort! The guys at the water sports are very friendly and helpful too. There isn't much nightlife, so if you are into that, you probably need to go off resort to find it. They do provide music in the evening, but it's not a party atmosphere. We will be returning next year because we had such a great time at The Club! When calling for reservations ask for Katrina. She is a great booking agent and can answer all of your questions and book your next trip.

First time to Barbados..and wow what a hotel, fantastic food can't complain there the staff were really friendly and a big thank you to the restaurant staff and especially those lovely ladys behind the beach bar and Guhy they really finished off the afternoon before heading back to shower up before evening dinner. I think we have found our second home...definitely coming back.

If you’re looking for great value for money and a relaxing all inclusive holiday in a superb location with delicious food and welcoming staff you need to look no further. This is our 4th stay at The Club and we just love the place. Always a warm welcome from the staff who, if you take time to interact with them are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious with balconies overlooking the pool, beautiful gardens or the sea. Although there is no beach directly in front of the hotel, there is a very nice elevated sun bathing terrace with a well stocked bar and easy access to the sea via steps. There are gorgeous white sandy beaches right next door just a short walk away. The new policy of not allowing sun beds to be blocked with towels before 8am ensures good availability. There is a choice of two restaurants and the food quality and choice are excellent. Both buffet and a la carte service are available in the evening with buffet served at breakfast and lunch times. Three pools surrounded by lush well maintained gardens are just a few yards away from the sea front and also have a large number of loungers and sun canopies. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Holetown and is a 15 minute walk to the centre. Buses and taxis are plentiful. If you are looking for a relaxing, adults only holiday with exceptional value for money and great facilities try The Club Barbados and you’ll definitely be coming back.

Lovely staff. Every person encountered was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the food at Sunset. Thankful they exchanged some USD for local currency so I could catch the bus which is nearby. Pool and beach nice to keep cool. Very amusing water aerobics instructor. Might be helpful - $62 US in a taxi from the airport but only $3.50 Barbados dollars on the 27 bus that leaves straight outside the terminal and goes directly to the hotel. No self serve laundry anywhere near hotel, walked to two but they are dry cleaners only. A group of guests thinking it was ok to fly a recording drone at fellow guests by the pool and on the beach chairs was unacceptable. The noise each night was fairly unbearable for a good few hours. Loud guests coming back to rooms after midnight were inconsiderate. From 1am-4am on three of my five nights, housekeeping trollies would bang and crash up the pothole-filled concrete road outside many of the guest rooms, they would smash over metal plates and grates. About every half hour another trolley went up or down that road. At 5am delivery trucks arrived each morning. Same crashing and banging, door slamming. At 6am construction and pressure washing next door started. Sand blasting and heavy machinery in-use. Than the pressure washer. Sent the video to Sandy Lane but no response. This wasn’t The Club’s fault.

We have just returned home from a really good vacation at the club. This is our 6th visit and we have been very well looked after indeed. The manager Caroline is very good and engages with the guests and deals with any problems in a quick and efficient manner. She is visible every day helping in the kitchen and restaurant when needed . We engaged mostly with the restaurant staff and found them to be very friendly and polite and couldn’t do enough for us. We really enjoyed talking to them and getting to know a bit about them. All staff that we encountered were friendly,polite and helpful. The food was very good and two young ladies that we met at the club went next door to sandy lane for dinner and said that the food there was not as good as the club !! Our room was a garden view suite on the ground floor which was very nice and cleaned daily by very polite and friendly staff. Swimming area and pool were cleaned every day early in the morning. The only area of improvement that I can think of would be some portable ramps for some of the steps to make mobility a little easier for disabled guests. Many thanks to the staff at the club for making our holiday great !

Lovely hotel, great food, good entertainment, great amenities, hotel staff very friendly, a very short walk to an amazing beach with great snorkeling opportunities, I would highly recommend the club for a relaxing fantastic holiday, we will be back

What a gorgeous place to be..it’s our first time here (our honeymoon),but we will definitely come again..Everyone was so absolutely amazing, so friendly,nothing was too much trouble..please don’t listen to any negative reviews,The Club is 1st Class

We stayed for 6 nights from 16/11/23. Our first visit to Barbados. We had a warm welcome on arrival with a glass of rum punch. Efficient check in with help with our bags to our room. We had an ocean front room on the third floor which was really amazing. King bed and a separate out door space. The room was cleaned very well everyday. Breakfast was the best meal of the day with the egg station cooking fresh whatever you wanted. The food was of a decent quality but a bit ordinary. The restaurant was all white very clean but felt lacking in colour or maybe leafy plants. The resort gardens were amazing very well looked after. The resort staff were fantastic always smiling and helpful. Thanks to Caroline the General manager who was lovely. We enjoyed ourselves very much and will definitely return.

1st trip after Covid; overall was disappointed. Barbados is expensive however the hotel was average. If I said Benidorm but in the Caribbean that might be give insight. Sun-loungers being reserved from 5am ; not enough loungers in first 5 days as hotel pretty full. People left their gear on loungers all day but did not use them; leaving others with nowhere to sit outside. They seemed short staffed as there was no drinks service at pool or sea front first few days. The Sun Bed pads were not cleaned daily or overnight ( basic hygiene ) especially after Covid. Mud , Sand, Food, Sun oil and perspiration in addition to bird droppings ! The above was not managed despite the hotel being aware of the issue. Food was good overall but again basic hygiene poor , no fly covers over Salad & Fruit . More UV fly lights and fans may have helped . Same for bar area’s; better cleaning as you go and UV fly deterrent's absent. The staff keep it going really and work hard, very friendly. Rooms are bit old ,tired ( original Pineapple furniture from 1st built). However comfortable and clean for the time spent in them; try to avoid rooms with Tin or metal shelters ( if it rains then quite noisy). The entertainment is ok , little amateur and the staff seem to play NY Rap and other music despite the average age of guests being 50 plus. Again there is no management overview ! There is no beach as sea comes up to hotel frontage ; water toys are therefore tide and weather dependant. You can get to a beach either side depending on sea conditions. You will have a good time I am sure , but do be aware of the above so you know what to expect. Its a basic package deal in Barbados. I wanted to be more upbeat in this review but 3.5 star.
