Thomsn-Alpine Rock Hotel

Good location for lifts in centre of town. Tasty breakfast with omelette station. Spacious public areas. Restaurant popular with non residents, good looking pizzas plus burgers etc. Room poorly designed. Oddly there is not a mirror over the sink but to the right of our room so hard to shave! The wardrobe has no doors so you sit in bed looking at your clothes. When you have a drink in the bar they won’t put it on your hotel account which is very unusual as well as inconvenient. Good to have a small pool which was refreshing and sun deck nice too.

Had dinner here. Nice place with a real great team. It’s also a hotel and a place I will stay in future. I made the mistake of staying at the Glemm. The pizza is super tasty and the beer cold. What can you do wrong. Go, eat and enjoy.

The service in the restaurant was very bad and unpleasend. The waitress was not just unpolite. It was more than that. When she brought us the bill for the very poor food she emphasized that , quoting: ' The service is not include in the price'. Really?? And we felt down over three yesterday

Food is okay (slightly overpriced) most of the staff is really kind and helpful! But there was this one girl (blonded hair) claiming to be the manager (not the funny and kind Spanish girl) being really rude! After spending more then €250 (take away!!) this was really unprofessional!

We had an amazing time at the Thomson Alpine Rock Hotel. The accommodation, staff, food and facilities were fabulous. We had booked a large 2 bed apt but on arrival we had a lovely surprise and were upgraded to the penthouse. We would have been very happy in our booked apartment but the penthouse was truly spectacular - the space both inside and out, Luxury bathrooms and bedrooms, not to mention our own personal sauna and on the second day a hot tub was installed! The balcony terrace is huge and the views are stunning. We will be booking this apartment again! We also used the spa facilities in the hotel and really enjoyed the infinity pool and relaxing rooms. We had a couple of meals in the restaurant and the food was brilliant, as well as the service. However, don’t forget to book as the restaurant is very popular and you will be disappointed to miss out. Reception were also very helpful when our British Airways flight was cancelled finding us another room whilst we sorted our journey home. What the hotel was unaware of was that I am recovering from breast cancer and this was our first holiday so we cannot thank you enough for a wonderful stay and the upgrade, it made it so special xxx

Perfect stay as always at this hotel, a warm welcome greets you on arrival, rooms are nicely designed and super comfy.

Great spot. I arrived late at night after a long drive in. There was an email waiting for me upon arrival with instructions for getting my keys after hours. Breakfast options were more than I needed. And it's a really short walk to a number of gondolas to start your day. Lot's of conveniences for gear storage and such. One of the reasons I booked here was the spa and pool. Apres went a weeee bit long so my spa time was cut down. But the time I did have was great, and the facility felt well maintained and clean. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. And the place is nicely situated in Hinterglemm and a pretty short taxi to Saalbach. I stayed in one of the Superior rooms, which had a two person in-room sauna. That was a nice treat. Lot's of room for storing your soft gear in the room, and easy to get your bags out of the way of your main traffic areas. I would definitely stay here again.

Coole location, auf jung und neu eingerichtet, aber für diesen Zweck tip top. Preis / Leistung passt hier und kann für Hinterglemm nur empfohlen werden. Wir waren eine Gruppe mit 15 Personen dort. Lage ist perfekt da nur 100m zum Lifteinstieg. Dazu ein Restaurant das gut ist, damit nur zu empfehlen.
