We checked in on Friday afternoon. We left and returned around 8 pm. Our smoke alarm was chirping when we returned to our room. We called the front desk and the clerk told us that they would send maintenance up. After approximately half an hour (listening to the continuous chirping), the front desk called to tell us that they couldn’t get maintenance to come, so they would move us to another room. After repacking and moving our items to our new room, we turned on the television and found that many of the channels were not available. Also, two of the reading lights weren’t working. It was late so we decided to report these issues in the morning. Saturday morning, we spoke with the desk clerk and they said they would have maintenance take care of the problem. When we returned that evening, nothing had been repaired. Also, our room was very cold even though the heat was on. My husband is battling cancer and was exhausted so the idea of having to move again was too much for him. He needed to rest. The heat never came on so we ended up sleeping in our clothes and adding an extra comforter to get warm. The heat finally came on around 5:00 am. When I spoke to the front desk this morning, I was told that they couldn’t reduce our charges because I had booked through a third party. The staff were courteous but did not ensure that our stay was comfortable nor were our concerns dealt with. We will not stay here again.
