I was excited to book the hotel for my family. Unfortunately have been attempting to contact the hotel for over one month because ********** wouldn’t cancel and need approval from hotel because a family emergency came up. We tried calling the hotel multiple times a day and a supervisor was never available. THIS started several weeks prior to visiting and we still can’t get any answers. We are getting the feeling that just don’t care once you have booked .

My husband and i booked 1 night at the herods herzelya. We arrived at the hotel around 11:30 am and the room was ready and we got an upgraded room with a view on the pool and marina ,so nice from them🙏🏼 .Check in was fast bc i already did everything on the application. Room was big ,clean,and very welcoming.view was so beautiful and relaxing (a must ) The hotel is boutique so not too much people at the pool,bed for everyone which is great. Breakfast is tasty and fresh with variety of food. It will be better if you add the percentage of fat on every cheese. Location is perfect ,on the marina 10 min walk from store and restaurant The few thing they need to improve: Closing pool at 5pm is a bit early, people are waiting the sun down to swim. Pool bar was closed so i had to go upstairs to buy food and drinks. On the hot day ice and water will be great at the pool for customers. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Herods and recommand it without a doubt

When it opened, Herods was probably great but in a few years it feels old. The staff is inattentive. When we checked in 2 front desk members were negatively gossiping about guests . The shower was cheaply plastered on top and every time the avbove room flushed it showered it sounded like the ceiling would fall in. They no longer provide shuttle services to beach, etc…

It’s NOT a hotel. It’s a very well located, quiet condo. The room was small with a limited kitchen.
No restaurant but there’re many close by. Do you have access to a good pool, laundry and all of those kind of services. But you don’t have any hotel services to speak of. Ilan Tal was a good experience and I would do it again.

Great!!! ETTY at the front desk went above and beyond to help us and even walked me outside to show me how to walk by the pier to the restaurants. The food by the pool was awesome !!

The hotel is run down, pain is chipped, ceiling is leaking, furniture is scratched and fabric has holes, door handles are wobbly. Front desk tries to help but the end result is still poor. Specific examples: asked for an iron , it was delivered several hours later. Ordered taxi at the frond desk, It never came and I was late to an important event. Tea kettle was missing from the room, requested one, got one the next day except it was broken, so no tea for the whole stay. Breakfast was had a good spread

We checked in to the hotel and in our first use of the faucet in the bathroom we found that the floor was flooded with water. We immediately reported the issue to the hotel front desk. Nothing has been done. We went out and comeback and still no fix. We had to put a lot of towels on the floor.
