Lofos Apartments

Fantastic from start to finish. You can really tell this accommodation is family run, it's one of the friendliest places we have ever stayed, upon arrival we were asked to take a seat in the bar area instead of queuing at reception and check in was done there, we were introduced to everyone which was a fantastic touch, you were advised about safe hire (10 euros per week) and air-conditioning (9 euros per day), we were then shown to our room. The aparment (room 3) was spotlessly clean, light, and very comfortable, the bathroom was modern with a great powerful shower which always had hot water with an opening window with insect screen and the view from the balcony was fantastic, we could see everything from the hills above the resort down to the sea. We loved the apar**ent and would definitely stay again, if we were to make a suggestion it would be to have the option of a softer light or lamp in the living room and some cushions to help use the sofa area on cooler times. The pool area was perfect with fantastic views and the food from the bar was reasonable and of very good quality. The apar**ents are in a fantastic location 10 mins walk from Piskopiano and 10 mins walk to Hersonissos giving the best of both worlds. There is a fantastic bakery and supermarket down the road for essentials just walk down to Hersonissos and turn left at main road. Throughout our stay what really shone out was the team at Lofos, everyone smiled, took time to talk to you and greated you whenever they seen you.All in all a great stay and we certainly recommend. Very clean throughout. The staff are exceptionally well trained and despite long hours are always warm, friendly and helpful. They could not be bettered. Family run hotel with family members constantly on site ensuring all guest needs are promptly and completely met. Great breakfast which is a mixture of Continental, full British and each day some different Cretan speciality. Location very handy for excellent bus service to all main points of all interest along the coast. Runs on time every30 mins. Timetable easily accessible and up to date at bus stop. Conductor on board to help take fare and let you know re correct stopping point. Three lovely old Cretan villages within 10-15 minutes quiet walk of hotel with restaurants, cafes, potters and artisan craft shops.

Staff excellent so friendly and very helpful they know everyone by your first name. The room was very big for 2 persons excellent bedding and towels, bathroom and kitchen were modern it had everything you will need. Great bar with comfy chairs and had good choice of TVs, great book exchange and games to play. Food / drinks in the bar was very good the good prices to match. Pool was very clean a had great sunbeds with pillows. Everything was perfect all the staff were helpful to everyone. I would recommend this fabulous place to anyone without a doubt.

We stayed for 10 nights. From arriving to leaving we was well looked after by Maria & George and the whole team. I can only echo the same as all the other reviews. Perfect location Lovely apar**ents ( It was like mamma Mia ) Food was lovely & reasonable prices. My only critic would be when they have large groups staying getting a sun bed in the morning can be an early get up (5.30-6.30)…. Overall we had a fabulous stay and have booked again for next year 😎

I am not the type of person to write a trip advisor review, however after our weeks stay at Lofos Apar**ents I could not come home and not tell everyone how amazing it is! We arrived around midnight to the hotel staff meeting us with a handshake and offering us food - what a great start and we had only been there 5 minutes. We sat down to have a drink whilst filling out the forms, we were so used to queueing at the reception when we arrived at a hotel - what a difference this was! Everything was so chilled from the moment we arrived, Maria carried our luggage up the steps and showed us to our spotless apar**ent. Which was a perfect size for the two of us, with a beautiful balcony. We had to get up at 8am for the sun loungers as we wanted one with an umbrella, however if we didn’t get up early, the staff would bring more loungers for us if all the others were taken. The loungers even had pillows attached for extra comfort! The apar**ents were located perfectly, up the hill were 3 small traditional villages and down the hill (a longer walk) was more of a party town but with beautiful restaurants on the sea. We decided to get a taxi back up to the apar**ents which cost us €10. I feel the staff, Maria and George especially, made our holiday. From the warming welcome to the hugs goodbye and we had only known them for a week. We honestly can’t wait to book to stay at Lofos again and hopefully for longer as 1 week went far too quick! Very welcoming staff, calm and peaceful a**osphere. I spent a week here on a b&b basis booked through Easyjet and the hotel lived upto all my expectations. I had an allergic reaction during the night at one point (think I got bit/stung/ate something at a beach) and they were extremely helpful amd supportive- checking up on me in person and a phone call. It is a family owned business and you can feel that they are very proud and care about their guests too. The standard of the hotel for hygiene and furnishings is excellent. I would not hesistate to return! Bar food, drinks and desserts were lovely and well priced. I loved the fact the hotel was away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Felt so relaxed when I returned home. I would 100% recommend booking a stay at Lofos Apar**ents if you like a small hotel, no frills, excellent hygiene, food and drink and lovely staff. Beautiful Lofos ❤️ We have just come to the end of our 2 week stay in this amazing place. Where to start. We stayed 3 nights in a studio apar**ent which was beautiful and clean. Everything you could need is provided. We stayed bed and breakfast and would say this is the best place we've stayed in for breakfast. The choice is amazing. We then upgraded to a suite with own pool. Just wow! From the huge super king-size bed to the large pool this room was luxury. Plush sunbeds and beautiful outside furniture 😍 The suite was luxury and next year will definitely book from day one! The local tavernas bars restaurant are up the hill but well worth the 15 minute walk. You'll find everything great bars friendly people and amazing greek food. The lofos itself serves beautiful food and we ate in daily for lunch. The cocktails are gorgeous 😍 The biggest thank you to all staff here you have made our holiday perfect. Freindly, welcoming and the perfect hosts. We've been to many places in Greece but Lofos you have our ❤️ We will be back next May Thank you so much xxx Tracey and Mark xxx

This gem of an apartment is absolutely a must for anyone wanting to be in a peaceful beautiful place. The owners Maria and Geogia and there fantastic staff are the most attentive staff of any of the many places I have visted nothing is too much, you are greeted of your arrival bus and even waved back onto it as you leave all showing genuine appreciation of your visit. We stayed in one of the newly renovated suite rooms which had its only pool, sunbeds and a separate outside seating area, the room itself has a large walk in shower and separate toilet plus double hand basins then a bedroom are with very comfy and very large bed plus TV then another seating area and even larger TV and fridge etc fabulous. The apartments have a lovely bar serving food to order and a lovely breakfast buffet which we had included. There is an outside pool and plenty sunbeds around. The apartments are very central for a walk to the beach approx 15 min and there are beautiful villages approx 7 min opposite way but be prepared depending which way you go one part of the journey will include a hill but taxis are available if it gets too much but you can't beat walking for discovery your surroundings. Thank you all at Lofos you made our first visit to Crete one to remember and I am sure we will be returning soon 😀

This is the best experience of a 10 night break on the beautiful island of Crete we have ever had. From arrival to leaving, we received an amazing service, Maria, George, Joanna, and Emma, as well as the other members of the team, are a credit to Lofos, we will defo be back.😘
