Bear Creek Lodge and Cabins Helen GA.

We had a wonderful family trip in The Lodge!! Spacious accomodations and the beds were very comfortable. It is well appointed with most everything you need. The front deck was our lifeline. We all sat out there every am for breakfast & for evening cocktails & games! Great for a group of adults or large families. The hosts, Pam & Earl are exceptional!!! They are very nice, accommodating and just all around good people! They made us feel apart of this special community. The Lodge is even better than the pictures online!! I can't wait to go back and highly recommend staying at The Bear Creek Lodge or any of their other cabins! Great getaway!!

We always stay at the bear creek and love it so much! We reccoment if you have fur babies to go and VERY family friendly! Summer is awesome cause friday nights they have a good shin dig. The owners are also freaking awesome and we love them too!! We stayed in may 2024. Also may 2021. Until next time helen. We love to go every year on my birthday weekend

The Lodge was great! We went on a family trip (9 of us!) and we had a great stay. Our hosts, Pam and Earl were on top of it! I would absolutely go back and recommend for large groups! Very clean and a beautiful setting… the only improvement would be a washer and dryer on site. Everything else was ideal.

This is our fourth year at Bear Creek! We come here every memorial day with our family and we always have a fantastic time. Pam and Earl are amazing owners and treat all of their guests like their own families. The cabins are clean and amazing and so close to downtown. It’s so easy to, walk everywhere or rent a golf cart. They have their own tubes, and you get to walk up the street and tube down the river as many times as you want to. On Friday nights during the summer, Pam and Earl bring out local musicians for live music and aoutdoor concert. Everyone brings their own s’mores and dances and enjoys a lovely night as a community.

Amazing! We drove 10 hours to Helen and Bear Creek Lodge annd Cabins and I will definitely do it again. Bear Creek exceeded our expectations in every way. Just minutes after arriving we were greeted by the managers/owners Earl and Pam. They were so welcoming and pleasant. You can tell that they genuinely care and want you to have the best experience. As soon as we walked into the cabin we were impressed. The cabin was extremely clean, fresh, and inviting. It was tastefully decorated and had updated appliances. They provide everything necessary to cook your meals and even provide extras such as a Kureg and a Ninja blender. They also provide good quality towels and linens. And I have to say that the beds were very comfortable. I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels that did not have beds as comfortable as these. This cabin also had a wonderful wrap around deck with rocking chairs and a Blackstone for grilling. They are just yards from the Chattahoochie River and the riverfront has so much to offer for the entire family. There is plenty of comfortable seating, two large fire pits, a giant Chess set, Connect Four, Jenga, and more. For the littles there is a sandbox with sand toys, a chest full of bubbles and every bubble wand you can think of, jump ropes, hula hoops, and more. They have bikes for the renters to use as well as tubes to float the river. I personally loved just sitting by the fire listening to the river flow. We also had a hot tub that you could tell had just been cleaned. The maintenance man, Ed even dropped by to make sure everything was working just right. We were told that during the peak season they have Friday night parties for all of the guests at the riverfront with a live band, catered meal, and more. All courtesy of the owners. The little town of Helen is literally about a 5-7 min. walk away from the cabins. The town is awesome with so much to see and do but truly the stay at The Bear Creek Lodge and Cabins was the highlight of our trip. I wish we could have stayed longer but we are already planning our next trip there. If you are going to Helen or just looking to experience the cabin life and get away, I would highly recommend staying there. You will not be disappointed.

Great weekend! Lovely little cottage with creek running under the porch and private hot tub! Very romantic! Will rent again soon!

Very fun stay! Cabin was nice, clean, and very cozy. Owners were very nice and quick to answer any questions we had. If you stay there be sure to bring extra towels and wash cloths. They only give you 1 towel for every person that stays and one that is for the entire stay. The sidewalk to the cabin could use a little fixing up. It was very worn out indoor outdoor carpet. The fire pit area was nice but very compact. Would love to see some brick pavers for more of a patio feel. The hot tub was very nice. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again!

Amazing trip! Cabin was adorable, clean and charming. It’s only a short walk to town and everything you need is within walking distance. Will definitely return again. Love that they are pet friendly. Will definitely return.
