Ik verbleef hier al jaren tijdens zakenreizen. Receptiepersoneel is altijd het hoogtepunt, zeer professioneel, vriendelijk en bereid om te helpen. Ik hou van de mogelijkheid om laat uit te checken en het aanbod om tassen in de opslag op te bergen totdat het tijd is om te vertrekken. Het karakter en de ouderwetse charme en de geschiedenis van het gebouw en zijn plaats in het gebied zijn bewaard gebleven. Veruit de beste prijs-kwaliteitverhouding, aangezien het concurreert met andere glamoureuze accommodaties in het hart van de stad. De deur uitlopen en op de lightrail stappen is een groot pluspunt, gemakkelijke reis naar Darling Harbour, Circular Quay en naar de footy in de andere richting richting SFS- en Fox-studio's.

It a hotel with a long and rich history. Hotel location is excellent. Near to Chinatown, Market City and train station. Recommended for tourists that want to stay near Chinatown.

Great location, right near the Central train station. I’ve asked for a quiet room and got one at the back of the hotel. I believe the rooms facing the Main Street outside must be noisy as overall walls and windows sound isolation not very good. So, I suggest asking for a room with a window facing inside (no view but peaceful). The room was very basic and you need to ask for shampoo at the reception if you stay longer than one night as room cleaning service is not included.

Given the price of hotels in Sydney this hotel is great value. The location can't be beaten. Room was spacious and well equipped. Good size bathroom. Very comfortable all round. I was there for 5 nights and would definitely stay here again.

Good location near to Haymarket Tram Station/Market city mall and few minutes walk to Central Station. However, the hotel is noisy with exhuast/aircon compressor noise running almost 24/7. The room does not provide basic things like toothbrushes or shower gel, etc. Not even upon request. The kettle for boiling of water is also damaged.

The hotel is really well located - right outside Central Station and just opposite the Light Rail, allowing easy access to Circular Quay. The rooms were really well maintained and clean with comfortable beds and good shower pressure. The breakfast is nice; however, it is a bit odd to advertise it as a "buffet" breakfast and limit it to one serving only.

Back to the 50’s… for a picture, likes it, but for sleeping and so on, it’s not worth it, even more with NYE prices doubled
