Another decent stay at S.C. Heritage. The check in was smooth despite full house during Songkran period. If you are looking for a hotel with great value for money in Hat Yai, look no further.

I think the hotel is called 'heritage' just because it is really old and most things are falling apart. My first impression of the reception area was shocking. Very dirty and not appealing at all. I was afraid of the room condition after seeing this. There is a big sign at the reception saying: "NO early check in", thus the (so called) lobby was full of people waiting for 2pm to check in. I used the toilets next to the reception and it was horribly disgusting. The room was bigger than expected and overall impression a little better than the impression of the reception. Everything is dated, but the AC is quite new, although it led its own life, sometimes out of itself just went to another mode or temperature. Pillows are very thick and uncomfortable (so I used my own inflatable travel pillow). The worst was the room being FULL of ents, literally everywhere, hundreds! And I got some mosquito bites too. So I had to put on anti-mosquito spray at night. It was the cheapest private room in all Hat Yai, only hostels are a bit cheaper, but hostels in Hat Yai are also very poor (in my experience). So it's normal for Hat Yai standards I guess. You pay mainly to get some privacy and a shower with bed. Just don't expect much in terms of cleanliness and quality.

The hotel is not clean, and service is poor, and the equipment in the room all broken,app written can add bed but we givin extra money but not givin bed to us ,cheat customers hotel

Great hotel for the money,,,, Byt friday and saturday nights they dont lrt you book on line, Its like they tell trip.com. NO ROOMS,,,,,, In actual fact they have empty rooms which they will sell for cash,,,, GREED I SAY SO BEWARE

No insects, clean room, staff r good, but hotel is very old...

hotel was all good considering the price but I think the cleanliness should be better than that. the bed was super hard, and it wasn’t that comfortable to sleep on for too long. mineral water, checked. complimentary drink, checked.
