I know we have been home a while now but our stay at Southdown was absolutely superb. Helen and Brian were so friendly and easy to chat with, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was immaculate and spotless, the views are great and the breakfast always fresh, hot and great quality cooked perfectly by Brian. My only gripe is I wish we had stayed longer....we will be back very soon. All the best Helen and Brian and many thanks for making us feel at home. Kev & Chris... Grimsby x

We received a warm welcome and were made to feel at home immediately. The room was very comfortable and lots of considerate touches made our stay very relaxed and restful. The breakfasts were delicious, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect for days out in North Devon and North Cornwall, as well as being a fantastic location for enthusiastic walkers of all abilities, with a fantastic array of walks within very easy reach of the B&B. Brian and Helen are very knowledgeable about the area and of local walks in particular.

The hosts and an excellent breakfast were hard to beat for a B&B. A good selection of towns and beaches in the area, along with eating venues.

We had a brilliant stay at Southdown B&B, the bedroom is lovely and a really clean en-suite. The views are stunning out the window and the location is great. The hosts Helen and Brian were fab, really friendly and accommodating, and they cooked a top notch breakfast. We would definitely recommend to anyone and will be back in the future I’m sure. Thank you for having us!

Lovely cosy B and B the room was a good size, and en suite bathroom, the couple Brian and Helen were great, lovely people, friendly and informative, the breakfasts was fantastic omelette to die for all that you need for breakfast.
